The organization which will be discussed within this essay is John St. To give some background on this organization, John St headquarters are in Toronto, Ontario. The company was founded in 2001 and has around 100 employees. They provide numerous services such as advertising, social media, design services, strategic planning, account management, digital services, integrated production and studio services. On their website they follow the fact that they strive to make their clients brands “unignorable” .Throughout their website they list various different clients who are well known worldwide for example President’s choice, Tetley, Heinz, Winners, Shoppers Drug Mart, Mitsubishi Motors, Nutella and Maple Leaf just to name a few. Culture is made everyday in various organizations for example within a lecture, when the professor asks us to get into groups different groups that is culture being made as we are interacting with one another to complete a given task from an authority figure, in this case the professor. It is important to analyze organizational culture, one reason being for future job opportunities, this allows us to learn about the organization that one is applying for and learn about the culture for example some offices don 't have their own cubicles and therefore work at a table together, studying the culture as well as knowing the type of environment that you work best in, will tell you if this is the right organization for you. Getting to know about an organizations culture will also give you an idea about the hierarchy, some organizations consist of barley any structure, where no employee is superior to another and everyone is treated equal. However other organizations are completely different and have a well structured hierarchy from the managers to the CEO’s and so on. website this text is useful as it gives potential customers as well as future employees an overview into the organization, this will be used to gather an introduction into John St. by looking into how the employees are presented and the various roles which are created inside the organization, this can be done by looking into the ‘who are we’ section. The next text which will be analyzed is their Facebook page, this will be approached by assessing the various posts and the content of the post, by looking at the ratings and reviews the overall popularity of the company can be assessed. Another text which will be discussed is a website named ‘glass doors’, this is a blog where employees comment on the organization, to approach this all of the comments will be reviewed to assess if this is a favourable organizational culture to be apart of or not, this is where most assumptions will be picked out. A client testimonial video is the next text, this goes to show the perception of John St. from an outsiders point of view of the inside, various people which hold high positions in companies discuss the positives of John St. and what have they done for each company , the analysis will put apart each testimony and assess the values and goals which are held within John St. ‘Jane Street ' is a video text which will be discussed by reviewing the importance of women in this organization and how through the formation of Jane Street
