The reason I prefer face to face class is to simply better know my professor and classmates. When you’re in class it’s easier with going over course work and preparing for test because you discuss it during class. It is also better because you aren’t teaching yourself for the most part and on site you can ask for help from the professor. You can easily take notes with face to face because of participation from students asking questions and things that you may have missed come up in discussion again.
They can look up systems of math on Khan Academy or an important person in history on history.com and many other history websites. And online research helps school because they are not force to buy the newest books. This helps student how to properly use resources that they found on the internet. Source reliabity is a huge issue that has to be taught. Knowing how to properly choose a source will help the students in life because in life one has to look at all the options and choose the best.
When students are deciding on where to go to college at they have the option of choosing between online classes and the traditional classroom classes. Today some students are finding it much easier to maintain a job, family and start a college career all by taking online classes. While online courses are convenient, courses held in a classroom setting may be more beneficial for learning. Many students take online classes because of their busy schedules.
