One Ordinary Day, with Lollipops
Mrs.Johnson gets out of bed to the sun shining in her face, the birds chirping, and the dogs barking. Mrs.Johnson goes down stairs, after getting dressed, she makes her coffee and scones then fills her pockets with her lollipops.
As she walks out of her home, she sees a crying little girl. She walks over to the girl and asks, “What is wrong my dear.” “My doll was stolen by those four crude boys” she replied, Mrs.Johnson returned with “Well honey let’s go retrieve your doll from them.” The girl, seeming very shy, says “My mom told me not to talk to strangers and they won't give it back anyway.” Mrs.Johnson's reaches into her pocket and pulls out one of her lollipops. “I am no stranger, I am a friend to

As she walked down the street she saw a young woman crying in an alleyway and walked over to her. Mrs.Johnson sat down by her and asked the question “What is your name and what’s is making you sad today. “Well my name is Dorris and my boyfriend and I got into a fight over a scene we were doing then he left,” “Here come with me Dorris and we’ll find him. Do you know where he went?” Dorris said “I do not know but his favorite deli is just down the road. He might be there.” Mrs.Johnson stood up, held her hand out to help Dorris off the ground, and they started walking down the road towards the deli. “What’s his name, how long have you been dating him, and have you guys always acted together?” “His name is James, we’ve known eachother since we were 10, yes we have ever since we were 12.” Mrs.Johnson and Dorris approach the deli and see James sitting alone in a corner booth of the deli. Dorris walks in first and walks over to James, he sees her getting closer to him and turns away. She gets to the both, sits down across from him, and she apologizes. Mrs.Johnson finally takes a seat, asked if he’ll accept her apology, and says “Sometimes you’ll have fights but in the end you should still love you partner. I’ve been through these many times with my husband and we are still married 43 years.” James turned around and accepted her apology, then Mrs.Johnson slapped $8 on the table, said “Go have a nice dinner, Goodbye.” and ran off to get on her way
He arrived with the mexicans however, he did not leave with them as he was offered a full time job for the rest of the summer. He accepted the job mainly because he could not stop thinking about the farmer's daughter, Lynette. It was then that he had a steady job and fell in love for the first time. This is where he worked from sun up to sun down.. This went on for weeks. Alice, Bill’s wife would always bring him food and Bill would always pick him up. Until one night, Alice came and got the boy. She told him that Bill was in town and would be home later, however, Alice work the boy up at two in the morning and sent him to town to retrieve her husband. The boy found him in the bar in a huge poker game with lots of money. A huge fight broke out and the boy was told to grab the money off the bar and when the fight finished outside they left. Bill gave the boy almost two hundred dollars of the money. The next night there a sheriff’s car in the driveway. The sheriff was there looking for the boy. He said there was a poster of him in town. Bill told him “he busts his balls for me” that he was a good kid. Again, another life lesson, that working hard had paid off for him. The sheriff told him that if it all checked out he would bring him back. However, the Sheriff took all his money and threw him in a jail cell. It was there that he broke out and ran. He hitched a ride to Oregon. He was pissed and mad. He fell asleep in the man's car on the way to Oregon. When he awoken he was offered some coffee and doughnuts. However, before eating them a peasant came through the windshield and killed the man. The car was wrecked and the boy was scared. He got out of the car and headed down the road. He then picked up by Hazel. She took him to her farm, fed him and cleaned him up and he was grateful for that. Hazel took the boy to the county fair. This is where is ran in to the sheriff that had took all
The glistening sun rises; it's visually impairing light shines upon my closed eyelids forcing me to wake up. I slowly look around the cramped stuffy room. The tired worn out men were fast asleep; probably dreaming about the mystical day we all achieve our long wished fantasy, to finally get out of this ranch and live our own life’s freely. Lennie woke up startled then violently rolled out of his squeaky bunk. “Good morning Lennie” I softly whispered. He silently whispered back “good morning George” with a huge pleased grin from ear to ear across his smug face.
After the wife left to get Robert from the train station and returned, the two men were properly introduced. The husband at that point was lost for words and was not sure on what to say, after saying rude stuff earlier to his wife about the blind. After getting comfortable the husband offered Robert a drink, and after seeing what Robert likes he was a bit surprised about his choice in drink when he said “Bub, I’m a Scotch man myself.” And it even got him when he offered a tab or water to go with his drink. While they shared a drink, ate dinner, and then ended up back on the sofa they soon begin to watch television until the wife left to go upstairs to change. Little did the husband know him and Robert were going to have another bonding moment. When he asked Robert if he wanted to smoke dope with him, to his surprise Robert was up for trying it. He did not realize how laid back Robert could be. He did not know that the blind could have a fun side to them. When the wife came back down she was worried at first as to why her husband would offer that until she realized Robert had no problem with this at all. While they smoked and the wife soon fell asleep Robert and the husband began to come to a true bonding
Helena went to antique shop, where the owner had given up farming to make more money, but his family still lived in the village. His plan was to make money so his children can have the best education and learn english. An old man came in to sell his butter jars. They argued about the price because he had promised him a higher price a few weeks before but with a few cracks in the jar the price was lowered. So he left with enough money to buy some sugar, and the old man scolded Helena for saying they were lovely since that meant they were worth more than what he gave him. He
She then returned to sucking her thumb and twirling her hair. The teacher then looked at the calendar and said it was Thursday. Zaina said, “Thursday.” The teacher then counted out the days. Zaina initially just watched. When the teacher got to ten, she started to count with the class and counted to 29. The teacher then announced they would play the Lollipop Game. The teacher demonstrated by singing the song and giving out lollipops. When she got to Zaina, she asked if she wanted a lollipop and what color. Zaina answered, “Yes, orange.” The teacher asked her to say, “I would like the orange one” and she repeated this. After the teacher handed her the lollipop she said, “Thank you.” The teacher then handed all the Lollipops to Zaina and asked her to give them out. She sang the Lollipop song as she moved around the circle. She stopped in front of one child and asked, “Would you like one? “What color do you want?” the child requested yellow and she gave it to her. She repeated this two more times. The teacher praised her for knowing and singing the whole song. She gave out two more lollipops and then the teacher asked her to sit down. She complied and watched as other children took
Arriving at Lacey’s house I walk to the backdoor letting myself into the house. Lacey was putting on tanning lotion in the kitchen, “Lacey,” I called to her, “my mom wants me to pick up snacks for the beach, do you want to go into town with me?”, “Sure,” she replied, “do you mind if my cousin comes with us?”, “Of course I don’t mind,“ I answered, “but we have to get moving, my dad only left me the car to use ‘til noon.”
In the small town of Charleston, an older, lonely man sits at the bar in a Diner. A young couple sat at the other end drinking coffee. The woman was dressed nice in a pretty red dress and the man looking dapper with his blue suit and hat. The older man is a regular at this diner. He arrives at the same time, sits on the same stool, and is always dressed nice as if he were about to meet someone. He never did though. The waiter knows the older man by name and says, "Hey Hopper, anything new today or just the same old, same old?" whenever he would walk in. Hopper would just shrug his shoulders as usual and sit on his stool. He looks at the couple at the end of the bar and nods, while waiting for the waiter to get him his usual drink, milkshake. The woman looks and smiles and then proceeds to watch all that is going on; not much at all.

The next day during supper someone knocks on their door. When they answer it they notice it is one of the neighbors from yesterday. The woman says, “Hello welcome to the neighborhood, I’m Felicia.” Then O’Shea said, “Thanks you’re actually the first person to visit us.” Felicia says, “Not to worry that people around here are shy.” Felicia then tells them that she has to go and both of them said, “Bye Felicia.”

There once was a man named Franswah, and he had a wife named Keisha. They both lived in Keithville, Atlanta. They had a little girl named Jasmine, she was twelve years of age and she attended Ghettoville Jr. High School in the seventh grade. Keisha never did like doing anything, so her husband Franswah decided to go out and have an affair with a lady named Shay. Franswah and Shay worked at a law firm together. Shay was his assistant, she always helped him with things and they always went to lunch together. So some nights he never came home or either he came in late. Keisha was never the type of person to just argue, she mainly just questioned him to see what the response would be and she left it alone until the next morning. So one night when he came in he had a funny odor and Keisha asked him what was up with the smell, he told her that he had been working out and got sweaty. Their daughter Jasmine had very high blood pressure, so most of the time she didn’t go to school because of her condition and she stayed ill. Keisha had a younger sister named Ashley, she is the rowdy type that doesn’t care and will tell anybody anything. Keisha was telling her sister about Franswah coming in late, having a odor on him and don’t want to be questioned. So one day when Ashley was over there and he walked in she confronted him and told him if she find out that’s its that he’s cheating on her she was gone handle it. So he got mad and started hollering at Keisha for telling her sister about what was going on in their relationship. Then that’s when Ashley came back and told him that she can tell her anything she want to tell her because that’s her sister. So few minutes later the phone rings and its was Shay. Keisha answers the phone and it was another lady’s voice, and she asked to speak to Franswah. So she asked her who is calling and she told her that it was Franswah’s baby mother. Everyone is in shock, so Ashley gets on the phone and started getting rowdy. Ashley was asking her different questions like how old is the baby, where she live, and where did Franswah and her meet.
The story is about a woman, Mrs. Wright suspected of murdering her husband. As the officer comes to look for evidence, the officer’s wife and the wife of a neighbor are also there. The men first criticize the Mrs. Wright’s lack of keeping the house. The women defend her, as a farmers’ wife is very busy. The County Attorney said “Ah, loyal to your sex I see.” The officer’s wife, Mrs. Peters and the neighbor, Mrs. Hale sympathize at seeing Mrs. Wright’s fruit jars all broken. After all, it was very hard work to can all that fruit. They managed to find one jar to save her. The men again make a comment about the women just being worried over trifles. As the men go upstairs the women look to put together a few things for Mrs. Wright. When they do, the first thing they notice is that she was making a quilt and stitched it poorly. Knowing the men were only looking for motive or evidence that Mrs. Wright was not in her right mind, Mrs. Hale pulled those queer stitches. She doesn’t admit to covering evidence, but when the men enter they say they were just wondering if she was going to quilt or knot it. Of course the men have a laugh over this. Here they are looking for evidence of a murder and all the women are worried about is a darn quilt. They didn’t find that odd at all. Men saw women just like that, absent mi...
It is 9:00am on a warm July morning. John Smith is dropped off near an affluent neighborhood. He creeps down a side street and enters the back yard of a large home. John uses a pry bar he had hidden in his pants to break open the door. Once inside he heads for the upstairs. When he reaches the second floor he finds the door to the master bedroom and enters to find the jewelry he had come for. John takes the watches, bracelets, necklaces, and rings and stuffs them into a small duffle bag. He quickly turns and when he exits the bedroom is confronted by a teenage girl, who he knows to be the daughter of the home owner. John makes a quick decision and hits the girl in the head with the pry bar and she falls to the floor. John now panicky flees the home.
The third maddening buzz of my alarm woke me as I groggily slid out of bed to the shower. It was the start of another routine morning, or so I thought. I took a shower, quarreled with my sister over which clothes she should wear for that day and finished getting myself ready. All of this took a little longer than usual, not a surprise, so we were running late. We hopped into the interior of my sleek, white Thunderbird and made our way to school.
