Would you like to learn about what Oak Grove West needs to improve about their school? These are my things to improve about Oak Grove West.
To begin with, I believe Oak Grove West needs to increase funding, which will benefit many things.One of the many reasons to increase funding, is to have more supplies. With more supplies, we would have better learning. As an example, Ms. Merritt does not have enough textbooks for everyone. What if one student did not finish their homework? They would have to take that textbook, correct? Now that leaves one student without a textbook, and they would have to share one. Also, the school needs to provide supplies to the teachers. There could be a new rule to the English language or a new thing discovered about ancient history. How would we know? The internet could be a resource, but you cannot always believe what the internet says. This is why we need to improve our supplies, so we can learn! Last but not least, it saves our parents' money! This year our supply list was outrageous. We needed 9 glue sticks. All the teachers just throw them in a bucket for everybody to use. Now shouldn’t the school be providing that? They would if we increased funding. My second reason is we need air conditioning badly. I think we need air conditioning, because that means comfortable students. Students need to be comfortable to learn. We might have food in our system, but when we are freezing or sweating we can’t concentrate. I also believe it could benefit if our teachers are comfortable. Lets be honest, teachers can’t teach when they are uncomfortable. We need to learn so our teachers need to be comfortable! I saved the best for last, a better learning environment. When all the students sweating it tends to get smelly. When a teacher is teaching an important lesson, and it smells, we don’t pay attention. Also, when students sweat on desks,
