Vision Project Speech
I have been given the opportunity to look at several instruments’ results to determine if they could give me some vision for my life as an adult. My vision at the moment is nursing. The first piece of information is Hartman Character Profile. The test revealed to e that I am a nice combination of blues and yellows. The inspiration for blue is being loyal and softly speaking to people. This makes perfect sense to me because a nurse has to be loyal to her patients because they want a constant support to get better. Also, she has to speak nicely and sweetly to the patients.
In addition, the inspiration for yellow is being patient, positive and empathetic. Nurses must be patient with their sick people and positive as well. Likewise, they good nurses should be empathetic because with empathy they can help their patients feel good, valued and respected. The results specified me as ESFJ. The letter “E” stand for extraversion. This clarifies that I tend to work out ideas with others, and it connects to nursing because a nurse has to work with doctors and patients. The “S” stands for sensing, which it approves that I prefer to pay attention. This relate to nursing because nurse must focus on every detail in order for the patient to get the proper care. The letter “F” stands for feeling. This link with nursing because I could be described as warm and empathetic. Lastly, the “J” stands for judging, which it connects to nursing because most of nurses prefer to have detailed, step-by-step instructions to help the patients.
