I’ve been meaning to bring this up for some time and we can’t seem to find the time for that during the day, so I’m going to put it in writing. I will preface this by writing that I am very happy at Catty and I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to work here over the past 10 years. I have not regretted my decision to come here for a minute. So first off, Thank You! You have always been great to me and have treated me with the utmost kindness. I appreciate that very much and my concerns are in no way operational. Having written that, lately I have been questioning my relative value within the organization and respectfully, I hope you won't mind if I request that an evaluation be done of my role and its importance in relation to those of others in the Act 93 group. It seems as though it would be very difficult for any of us to truly understand the intricacies of the jobs of others, so I try not to assume anything, but I feel that what I do is equally valid and essential and my level of accountability is at least equal to that of the others. I have always believed this to be true, but even if I was wrong in that belief, I think that school boards would now , more than ever, be best served by reevaluating the importance they assign to the role of Foodservice Director. If one does not see the value in having a good FSD, they have possibly not worked with a bad one. There are admittedly a lot of bad ones in K12 and I feel that hurts school districts and those in my profession alike, which is why I’m asking to be judged as an individual and on the quantifiable results I have helped to bring to CASD over the past
