When you were talking about difficult children fitting better to some teachers made me think back to an example I used in a previous five main points assignment. The child that would run off or immediately throw a fit when he was contacted with teacher confrontation. I chose a different route of action with him, listening and gaining his trust allowed me to be a better fit for him. Out of all the after school teachers I am the one he runs to, he searches for me at the end of the day to say bye, he comes to me with his problems and generally I am the one who can manage him. I fit my behavior to be more compatible with his. His little face lights up when he sees me, which give me great happiness to know I am the difference in his life. Everyone

The stimulation we had to do for class focused on a piece of land in Cleveland OH that once belonged to a nuclear factory. This land consisted of 4 acres in the north-central section of Ward 12, and adjacent to ward 3. The allotment is positioned closely to many low-income segments of the South Broadway neighborhood. The goal was to come up with an idea on what should replace the decommissioned factory and create the biggest benefit for the community.
Software application development at my company was initiated first out of security concerns. There were increasing numbers of security breaches reported in hospitals, banks, Yahoo, and other places that paused potential hazards (Snyder, 2014). We are in the financial Industry with huge volumes of sensitive data. Our Information Technology department expressed concerns that our SQL server was an easy target to those that may want to hack the system. Existing security measures and periodic training were very strict but they were not enough to protect customers from hackers.
From 2011 and onward, my family had fallen into bankruptcy for paying out of pocket for my older brother’s medical expenses and surgery costs due to his diagnosis of heart failure. In 2013, when I took the standardized ACT exam two times, I scored both times an 18 which was below my university’s 2014 entering freshmen class’s composite score average of 24.5 (copy of score report is attached). Furthermore, upon taking the LSAT two times with over four months of self-studying for the September exam, I scored first a 141, and a 140 on my last attempt. When taking both examinations, I have not been able to afford tutoring pertaining to the exams or a preparation course. Although I have worked numerous jobs during the past few years in college,

1.“If, for example, students were not ultimately rewarded for spending their early adulthoods pursuing undergraduate, graduate, and professional degrees, or if the hardest-working and most productive workers were paid the same as the median worker, then citizens would have little incentive to develop expertise, to exert effort, or to excel in their work.”
Changing the mindset of a teacher to be a more optimistic and open one will take time and training but in the end, with fewer misunderstood kids it will be worth it. In the article “From Social Class and the Hidden Curriculum of Work” written by Jean Anyon, she going on to explain how differently different classes of schools are taught and the skill set each school is giving their kids. In the “working class,” kids are taught to do without question or even a sense of purpose. As you move up the classes the children get more and more explanation as to why they are doing what they are doing. In the case that a child asks questions in the lower class they are told “because I said so” or simply told again to complete the task at hand in the exact way it was described. One’s economic class should not determine the quality of their education to the point that when all classes have completed, some are ready to join society in a place allowing advancement and some will never make it out of entry level
...st part we have learned to accept our differences as individuals and have moved on. Although we may accept diversity others may have huge personal hang ups, which will prevent positive learning from taking place. As a teacher we need to identify and knock down these learning barriers to create a positive learning environment.
The human body is everything that makes up, well, you. The basic parts of the human body are the head, neck, torso, arms, and legs. Our bodies consist of a number of biological systems that carry out specific functions necessary for everyday living. The following paragraphs are going to explain the functions of two different body systems.
As a teacher in early childhood development, I believe that the teacher skills and personality influence how children understand, observe and react to the classroom environment and the world around them. Even though part of teacher responsibilities are academic, daily interactions that encourage social, emotional and physical development are important. One of a quality effective early childhood educators’ characteristic is that they should have patience.
To begin, we need to understand the nature of students. The nature of students varies between individuals. The majority of students are well-behaved and come to school ready to learn. Part of this is due to the way they have been raised, but most students are basically good. There is a small percent of students whose nature, it seems, is to make everyone miserable. I do not know if this is because of a difficult childhood at home or because the student just likes to be the center of attention. Either way, there are always students that will give their teachers a hard time. I guess this is their nature. Every individual is different, therefore, the nature of the students I will teach some day will be different depending on their background and other various things that may happen to them as they grow up. For example, a student that has lost a sibling due to an illness or accident, may become very bitter throughout life. The nature of this student’s behavior which is being shaped by this may make this student a cold-hearted and mean student. These are the students that teachers need to spend extra time with and try to make them feel loved, no matter how hard this may be. I, as a future teacher, need to look at students and try to help them out no matter how difficult that may be.
I have decided to become a teacher because I love children. I enjoy watching them grow, and I want to make a difference in the lives of my students. As a teacher, I will do everything that I can to ensure that each becomes a productive, successful citizen in life. In order for me to obtain this goal, I will create a loving, positive, respectful, and safe learning environment where each student will be treated equally and be encouraged to do his or her best. Keeping this in mind, there are four elements that I must remember which includes (1) how young children develop, (2) what they should know and be able to do, (3) instructional strategies that I have learned, and (4) my feelings regarding parent involvement.
As we know, children spend about thirteen years of their childhood (if they graduate) in school around their peers and teachers. Most children go home to busy households where parents do not spend quality time, such as; listening, and disciplining them like they need to. So when these children go into the school the next day, they need and adult to pat them on the back, listen to them, discipline them, and encourage them to keep on trying. Children need to be encouraged so they will try harder. I want to there to give them that extra push that they deserve because many teachers gave me that encouragement to me. These days encourageable, energetic, and determined teachers become evermore important in today’s busy society.
