Sequence: From reading the chapter, and getting a better understanding of what this truly is, I find myself somewhat confused. I did wait to see other posts before writing mine, and I did look back often to see any response. That was a natural action; I really didn’t think about it, I just did it. I can’t stand change, if I’ve finished a project, it’s done! Any changes to me are a new project altogether. The only exception to that is a work in progress, and changes better come early. As a builder, just about everything has a logical order, but for me it’s all about working things out to speed up a time line, overlapping trades or tasks that most people wouldn’t do

Precision: Again this is something I do use, but not to a high degree. My best description or example is my current project. I’ve been given a set of architectural drawings, and I have reviewed them. Here’s where it gets different for me, I haven’t studied them to find all the answers I just understand where to find the information once the time comes to complete the task. I feel like the notes have been given to me and when it’s time to use them I know where they are, and that’s good enough for me.

I find building something new very satisfying, and the more detailed the better. Now I don’t need to take thing apart to figure out how they work, maybe as a kid on accident, not a real accident. I have the advantage of longevity. I’ve been in the trades for 30+ years, meaning I have made plenty of mistakes, and learned to fix them. I can or should try harder to explain things to my counterparts. I’m very weak at giving detailed information; I do a poor job of this at home too. For the most part, this pattern has to be my go first. I can’t do the proto type work in construction with any other pattern, and it simply would never get
