The Paleolithic age was the earliest period of human development and it’s also knows as Old Stone Age. In Paleolithic age humans started to grow from simple living and society to more developed living. Paleolithic age commonly used tools that were made from stone by chipping the stone to form a cutting edge, one of the famous tool is called hand ax which was used in hunting. Hunting and gathering were only source of food for Paleolithic age, human were always moving and trying to find areas with lots of animals. Paleolithic age ended when agriculture was developed, humans stated to domesticate animals and when metal was used to make tools. Then next age is called Neolithic Era and it was also called New Stone Age.

For example discovery of agriculture and domestication of animals led the humans to settle down at one place and form some sort of village. Since people were living in tighter form of living, things became complicated and they needed some sort of structure in their village to keep things under control. This idea of control lead the civilization to create some sort of government which was able to solve problems and help people to diversify their roles in the society, so their tasks were divided where some people were able to hunt, farm and cook. This helped the society as a whole because there were able to get more things done in less time. Segregations on duties didn’t just stop at the society is made its way to each person’s household, especially in the roles between men and women. In Paleolithic age men to be hunters and they use to go in big groups to hunt big animals. This changed in Neolithic era and they started to capture and domesticate animals instead of hunting them, later on these animals will also help them in farming. In Paleolithic age women use to be gatherers but in Neolithic era they were able to learn the life cycles of plants and understand the effects of sunshine, rain and temperature change. So they actually helped their men to grow more crops. These little changes were stepping stones from what was about to come in the future because this showed human that they can live in one area for their rest of life.
