Did you know that Nazis are planning to start another war? Neo-Nazis have existed since the fall of the 3rd Reich. They have been getting more people to join and support their cause. Yet, “Hitler’s Children” can be stopped, just like Hitler’s SS and SA’s were stopped. But, why are neo-Nazis active? Why are people joining them? How can they be stopped? Neo-Nazis are a growing threat and can be prevented from expanding their terroristic activities in the U.S.
“Fascism is like a hydra- you can cut off its head in the Germany of the ‘30s and ‘40s, but it’ll still turn up on your back doorstep in a slightly altered guise” (Coraline). Alan Moore, in this quote, is basically saying that just because the group looks different than other groups, they’re still under one leader. Neo-Nazi groups come in all different groups and ideologies. Skinheads, called that because of their shaved heads, are stereotyped as racist, violent, xenophobes, homophobes, and worship Hitler and his 3rd Reich. For example, Richard Butler, a neo-Nazi leader, was quoted by the Los Angeles Times as saying this, "I admired [Hitler] because it seemed like he was the only one who stood up” (“Richard Butler”). William Pierce, who was a leading figure in the National Alliance, has members that have done bank robberies, bombings and are literally terrorists (Southern Poverty Law Center). Pierce wrote the Turner Diaries, which is heavily regarded as the Bible among fellow racists. The Turner Diaries is a race war novel based off of his experiences in his Alliance group. Pierce died in 2002. Even Churches have come together, under the banner of terrorism, to fight, on the wrong side. The Church of the Creator, led by Mike Hale, regard themselves above all the r...

...ere’s hope, for they can be prevented from expanding and ending up like the Ukraine. Terrorists often joined due to problems at home, or with their life, but they didn’t seek the responsible help. We must guide them to the responsible help. We know people like the terrorist, the kid who has parents who are separated. Our neighbor who’s “barely getting by” financially. The CEO who has no empathy for their employee’s. The teacher who’s socially awkward and has a hard time relating to the staff and students. We, as a community, and as a nation, must help them. Whether it’s becoming their friend, offering them some money, helping the kids parents by looking out for the kid. The world needs to become united, instead of divided because of terrorism. We can prevent Terrorist Cults from expanding and growing by the means of hate, by promoting love to all.
The passage stands out due to Osama bin Laden’s main goal for America being summarized in the words “never dream of peace”. This statement reveals the larger theme that as terrorist are killed whether it produces more. The passage relates to the author’s purpose of demonstrating that Osama bin Laden’s takedown was a result of countless lives lost, effort, and personal
My topic is Neo-Nazism in America. Nazism, which is the body of political and economic doctrines held and put into effect by the National Socialist German Workers' party in the Third German Reich is at its highest peak since the destruction of Hitler's dictatorship in 1945. In the streets, Nazis are spreading fear by using murderous violence and terror. This group blames the cultural and ethnic minorities for the problems in our society. These individuals, and their political leaders, are a threat to our democracy, and to everything that is decent.
favor a society with one language, religion and way of life. They are often antigovernment,
Since the beginning of time, history has seen countless amounts of prejudices and years filled with hatred- some happenings of which were not recorded, and others of which were too atrocious to leave out of the pages of time. Because history has been recorded as accurate as possible, evidence proves that history repeats itself. The Ku Klux Klan of the 19th century and the infamous Nazi Party in Germany of the early 1900s are an example of the repetition of growing prejudices throughout history. Although the main targets of each group differed, both were unjust to the minority in their country and used extreme actions to achieve what they believed was just; their beliefs and rituals were important factors that lead to the death of millions of human beings.
The KKK was set up to build an all white society based on Christian beliefs. They claim that
Right now, there are many active hate groups in the United States such as the Ku Klux Klan, Neo-Nazi, Skinheads, Christian identity, Black Separatists, etc. These hate groups like the Ku Klux Klan, which is one of America’s oldest and more feared, use violence and move above the law to promote their different causes. Another example is a group called Christian Identity, who describes a religion that is fundamentally racist and anti-Semitic; and other are the Black Separatist groups, who are organizations whose ideologies include tenets of racially based hatred. Because of the information gathered by the Intelligence Project from hate groups’ publications, citizen’s reports, law enforcement agencies, field sources and news reports, many people know about these hate groups. Many people know how these groups act and think and most of the American people agree that these hate groups are immoral and should not be allowed to exist neither in the United States nor on the rest of the world.
Across America’s history there have been dozens of terror attacks. All of them hit a deep blow in every citizen’s heart. And with all of them our current President gives a speech about what has happened and how we are all together as one nation; unconquerable united. While discussing events like the one in this essay have a tendency to bring back horrific memories for some and an extreme sadness for all, it is also has a tendency to bring back memories of the brave men and women who have helped this nation in times of struggle. Through talking and communicating through times of grief, you are able to transform grief into a common national message of hope and unity; even through troubled times.
There is an emotional tyranny at play here, and its effect is to obstruct processes of understanding that alone will aid us in our ongoing debate over how to come to terms with terrorism. What do I mean by tyranny? In the first instance, we are being told that feelings alone are appropriate now. It is too early, indeed, it is tasteless, to begin to sort through our role in the complex factors that brought these people to their heinous acts.
A modern-day monster takes shape in the form of the Ku Klux Klan due to the interacial and international fear they incite. Founded in 1865, the Klan began as a movement against economic equality for everyone. Their approach to white supremacy was emphasized in their violent attacks and bombings throughout the nation. In 1915, the Klan was revitalized and took a stance not only against African Americans, but now Roman Catholics, Jews, and Immigrants. This stance against several personal freedoms demonstrates their insular views on the world. The Klan opposes anyone who differs from their specific beliefs; not only do they carry a specific mindset, but they work towards this mindset in a violent manner using intimidation. “KKK members wore elaborate
The Ku Klux Klan is the organisation in USA that has been torturing and harrasing
In this world today, hate is becoming increasingly more abundant, especially as it concerns race. Whether it be an unarmed black man shot by a white police officer or the use of racial slurs towards someone, it seems like racism is all around us. In the book To Kill A Mockingbird, it shows a little girl named Scout using racial slurs. Racism is so culturally accepted in the town that it’s okay to use racial slurs such as the N-Word that even Atticus, a lawyer representing a black man falsely accused of rape, uses it a couple of times. Earlier this year, the Ku Klux Klan, a group of white supremacists, held a violent rally in Charlottesville, Virginia and proved that racism isn’t a thing of the past. In order to combat racism, groups of like-minded individuals with a common goal of making the world a more accepting place must come together to stand up
The Ku Klux Klan originated in Pulaski, Tennessee on December 24th, 1865. The KKK, is also own as an extremist right -wing secret society in the U.S. The Ku Klux Klan is one of the most-known clubs.
For the soldiers and families that had fought in the Civil War for years, the end meant victory; it meant that slavery would be abolished and things would turn for the better. All the suffering enslaved people had previously suffered would be over and the South would no longer be able to mistreat them. Finally, all men would be equal. This vision seemed like a happily ever after for America, a justice that was finally served. However, this dream never became reality. When the Civil War is thought of today, most see a valiant effort to rid America of slavery forever, and stop the vastly unequal practices that many white Americans relied on. The war is seen as its own story, beginning with people who were kept as property, and ending with the
Nazism is alive and all around us. The Third Reich is arguably the most studied and talked about regime of the modern era yet most people don’t understand that we are virtually surrounded by Nazism in our pop culture. Everything from: bands, slang terms and fashion are influenced by the powerful images and branding of the Nazi party. Branding that was the face of terror and genocide.
As named in the stanza before, the Nazis used Gleichschaltung to unify the German empire and all its citizens, in political and social ways as well as private and public lives. Gleichschaltung means coordination or making the same. The term is used to describe that National Socialists tried to coordinate all people to be equal and follow their ideology. All the organizations named above, like the organizations for children Hitler Jugend and Bund Deutscher Mädel were established to bring the citizens of the country together. In those organizations, the people were taught the ideology and concepts of the leaders, so everybody would think and support the same thing, which of course was National Socialism. Within this process of coordination, previous values were changed to the Nazis’ ideology.
