What is normal for one person is not so normal for another person. Homosexuality is one of the most polemical issues in the world today. Homosexuality defines as one’s desire of being attracted to a person of the same gender. The discussion of homosexuality in today’s society is not an easy topic to discuss because so many different opinions arise from the subject. Three effects of being homosexual are discrimination, family issues, and suicide . Discrimination against homosexuals has been a common thing from people in society for years. Homophobia is a prejudgment of people of the homosexual orientation out of fear that either you think the person likes you or you are suppressing feelings that you cannot show. Homosexuals become so stressed it feels like they are carrying the weight of the world on their shoulders. Every way they turn nothing seems to be going the right way in life. So much physical and mental pain one simply cannot take anymore of living a life where they will never be accepted by others. They just decided it would be better if they were dead.
