Recommended: History and development in basketball

Introduction “Get the fundamentals down and the level of everything you do will rise” - Michael Jordan. This is one of my favorite quotes from the “greatest basketball player of all time”. I actually started playing basketball, for two seasons so far. This book is not only about the chronicle of basketball, but will also cover the basics in the game, while it will cease with discovering Michael Jordan and the Portland Trail Blazers. In modern time, basketball is getting more popular and competitive. However, there is one problem. The National Football League (NFL), a professional American football league, may be a competition for the National Basketball Association (NBA), which is a men's professional basketball league in North America. First, you will get to learn an abundance about the invention of the sport. As college basketball leads the way, it was enjoyed by players and became widely known by most colleges and high schools. The first game was played at what is now Springfield College, in 1891. After the football season ended, college students were required to participate in indoor activities to condition themselves. Naismith had the job to create a game that would interest the young men. He spent a lot of time thinking of a game involving strength and skill. Finally, he got peach baskets as goals and a soccer ball. James teached athletes the basics of the new game and the teams were chosen with three centers, three forwards, and three guards per side. There were only thirteen rules.
