Hunting Reflects Off of Us

Have you had a bad day in the morning and it just reflects right off of you. Well you haven't well i’m going to tell you my story of what happened that day. It was 11:09am, my dad was with me and we were hunting. So let’s begin the story.

So we woke up in the morning getting ready for hunting for the day. So we got ready and my dad says it’s a bad day to hunt. I say you now how about we go somewhere else and see what’s there. So he thought about it and he said sure. We got in the truck driving to HHH to go hunt and all we saw was deer were we can’t hunt so we drove farther. We went and drove farther so we drove back to the sight of the deer and this big buck is running so fast we saw it so fast so we started to look and observe. Then we went to another place and we spotted something and it was antelope so we spotted even more of them. So we went to another place to hunt so we got out and started walking and we kept on walking so long. We saw NOTHING so we started to walk back and then my dad spots this big buck a 6-6 and we started to walk back to our spot and we start to wait and wait and wait. Then we spot him so we saw two deer and it was a doe whitetail and a whitetail buck. So my dad was waiting for them to get closer and they did. But not that close to the

    I am sitting in the passenger side as my dad is driving, and we are on our way to my grandpa's land which is located about 25 minutes east of Dubuque. First thing we do when we get there is to finish putting on our coats, and then to grab our bows out of the back, then I close my door softly. Walking through the open field I have dead weeds and tall grass crunching under my boots, and at the end of the field we reach a barbed wire fence that we crawl under. Then we cross under a bunch of pine trees and go about 30 yards into the woods to where my tree stand sits. Then my dad tells me good luck and he heads down into the gully where his stand is located. So I then climb the 12 foot ladder and sit on the seat and put on my safety belt and get my arrow ready on the bow string. I survey the land and look for any movement, so I look to the left where there is another set of pine trees, then I look in front of me into the first set of pine trees don't see anything yet.
