Throughout the time of the crash, almost all of what Nando had to say about the other survivors and the people who eventually passed away was all positive; this could be attributed to the fact that the families of these people or the people themselves had access to the book and would not like to offend them. Nonetheless, he still had favorable things to say about each person. This transferred over to the crash as well; Nando encouraged, lead and comforted the scared, assisted, advised and cheered on the brave, and assuaged the dying. Nando had a connection with everyone aboard and had respect for them all in some way or another.
