I have also seen her daughter - my aunt Milinda – raise three beautiful children by the love and traditions passed down from Grandma. I, of course, owe most of who I am from Grandma’s love passed down through my own mother Rayetta and her husband George, whom Grandma so highly regarded.
My grandma is one of the most important people in my life and I’m so happy that I have her. Since birth the one person that was always by my side except for my family was my Grandma. Once my parents needed to go back to work she was there everyday to watch over me. She took me with her every where she went and was proud to show me off and that she had such a wonderful grandson. My Grandma was around for all of my “firsts” that happened as an infant.
She is truly the backbone of my family. She has never hesitated to love me unconditionally and support me through everything. One day when I become a mother, I hope that I am as good of one as she is. My sister Niki is another person that I have always idolized. Growing up, my sister was always there.
As a nephew, I from the bottom of my heart admire my aunt because through the years, she has had much history and I would love to follow her footsteps. With all the problems she had faced, she has never given up and has always held her head high. If I need anything I can count on my aunt. If I need a hug I can go to her because she is like a second mother to me. If I need help I can go to her.
Thank you for giving true meaning to the word sister and for sharing the last 28 years with me. My parents and I have just loved this girl from the day she was born. We?ve coddled her, enjoyed her, and laughed with her. I know how much joy she has brought into our lives, and I know that she?ll bring that joy into Ernest?s life... ... middle of paper ... ...eatest wish for the two of you is that through the years, your love for each other will deepen and grow. Years from now, may you look back on this day, your wedding day, as the day you loved each other the least.
I have many memories of wonderful times spent with Paula, as we all have. And will cherish them forever. The fondest memory I will now have is watching Paula marry her best friend, the love of her life and companion. I love you both very much, you are two very dear friends to me. In the past year I have seen you both grow as individuals and flourish as a couple.
My grandmothers unwavering support of those she loved was most apparent with her grandchildren. Whenever my siblings or I were in a bind or were becoming overwhelmed my grandmother always gave the same piece of advice, one day at a time. It was not until I was eighteen years old that I started to apply this phrase to my own life. I was eighteen years old and in my first year away at school. I could not have been happier and felt that I had a whole world of opportunities ahead of me.
“Being kind and generous to people will take you very far in life” is what my great grandmother always told me. Smiling from ear to ear, eyes gazing across the room and that special touch are all it took for her to make someone day. Many days were made if you were surrounded by her and saw that big, bright, and beautiful smile. Soft hands are what she had from giving her entire life. No one went without, you could be a total stranger but she would give you her last.
Their love was known across the land, and inspired, and still inspires people of their true love. Katrina ended up taking the name Tina, her dead mother once called her. She lived out a wonderful life bearing three children from Adam. And everyone lived happily ever after. The End.
Week Five Paper Jesus Cabral Brandman University Woman as I can best define this beautiful Gender: The first woman I met in this world was my mother. She was loving, warm, and nurturing. As I grew up she was supporting, understanding and a counselor in addition to many other attributes and personal sacrifices. I admired this strong character since my father was absent for the most part of my childhood. As a child and later in life my mother was not the only person I knew that was strong, confident and possessed all the qualities that my mother did, that other influential person in my life was my grandmother and later in life my wife of course.
