When it comes to writing, people have different techniques on how to start writing, how to organize the aesthetics of the text, or how to brainstorm. Along with those techniques, we also have to consider the type of writing the essay will be about, because different approaches are used on different topics. Brainstorming about the topic, then typing and letting my ideas flow to build sentences and paragraphs, then revising and editing are steps I take in my writing process. The act of brainstorming is something that comes natural to me, I consider myself a very creative person, so getting ideas to use on essays is not hard, After thinking about the topics, I try to personalize the paper in my life; sometimes that can be really distracting because I lose focus on my paper, but so far that has not evolved to be a major issue. To end the brainstorming steps, I read out loud the essay without worrying about any mistakes, just to see if what was written made sense and matches the topic. …show more content…

The introduction is always first, followed by at least three main ideas well developed into paragraphs. My biggest challenge is developing ideas and making them understandable, sometimes the sentences do not make sense, or a series of run on problems are found throughout the essay. The reason behind that is English is not my first language, because of this, my vocabulary is a basic-intermediate level; furthermore, my typing is slower than my thought process, so I am already thinking about what to write in two sentences, but I am still finishing the first
