My wellness goal is lower my anxiety. In my paper, I will identify where in the process by Prochaska, and DiClemente I fit. It will also include a plan to achieve my ultimate wellness goal, my strengths and weakness’ that contribute to my goal. I also will include how this will enhance my life overall. Looking up what emotional wellness is you would come up with a definition of a psychological state of well-being with personal growth. One of the main causes of emotional health is stress levels. There is an uncountable number of stress factors in our lives, but in my life, my stress is high constantly. Many of my most stressful days start with thinking about school, and the fear of failing constantly.

It plays a huge role in damaging my emotional wellness. To relieve stress for me I partake in singing whenever possible, listening to music, and singing helps me take away from the daily stress in my life, doing something I love makes it easier to become happier. Another way I will work toward my goal will be to seek positivity. Many times in a day I catch myself complaining about small unnecessary thoughts. I seek to try and look at my life as a glass half full, instead of a glass half empty. I also have a few people in my life who constantly bring me down, so I will strive to change those relationships or leave them in search of helping my anxiety and stress. One of the biggest problems I have is the fear of failure, this makes me fear to speak in class, because of what others may think, or trying new things. “take control after a failure” (Huffington Post). Part of my plan will be to tell myself mistakes are a way of helping you achieve a goal. You can learn from your mistakes, and move forward by not making the same mistakes. Many times making a mistake or fear of it causes overwhelming stress, so I will continually tell myself mistakes help you learn. The last part of my plan will be to try and find a balance, so many things are happening as we try and decide what we will do for the rest of our lives, to how we will get our homework done. The persistent overwhelming feeling causes stress as well. So to
