The only thing my family loves more than each other is travelling. My grandparents on both sides of my family travel the majority of year, but only one set loves Disney World. The trips to Disney started at a very young age and quickly became an every-other-year family vacation. My dad’s parents and my parents have been Disney Club members for over almost 20 years now so they rack up points very quickly which helps make the trip much cheaper (also my grandparents pay for most of it). Disney was such a good place because there were things for my whole family to do no matter what age. These trips led to the making of memories with the people who I love and will cherish forever. My first Disney trip that I remember perfectly was when I was around …show more content…
My first Disney Cruise was when I was in 8th grade and my family went with a few of our friends. I had never been on a cruise or used my passport so I knew this was going to be a special trip. No feeling will ever overpower the sheer joy and excitement as I walked up the walkway leading into the gorgeous ship. The workers instantly made me feel at home and it was very interesting to see so many people from different countries and cultures working together. The first thing I rushed to was the teen club, and it was everything I had imagined. A worker saw me looking at the Wii and challenged me to a friendly game of Wii baseball. Little did he know I played a lot of Wii back in my day. After I was finished beating the worker it was time to go see my room. I barely spent any time in there because of how many things there were to do around the ship. I next went to the sports deck and met a kid from London and he hung out with us for most of the trip. Sadly, a few days, later our time in paradise had to end; until next …show more content…
This trip was just with my family and grandparents (no not the shirtless grandpa). Disney has a private island that the ship was going to port at for a day, it was breathtaking. The ocean was clear as glass and the sky was a light blue; the water was so clear you could easily see all the stingrays swimming around that you could swim with. My parents were reluctant at first but finally caved and let us get the gear to go swimming with the stingrays. Far away they seemed menacing but the closer you got, the more friendly they were. You could swim right up and stroke your hand down their smooth backs; also when they were hungry we put the fish between our fingers and let the stingrays swim over and suck it up like a vacuum. After swimming, we went to the shops that lined the streets with many colorful clothes and items. I bought a nice shirt that is still one of my favorites. When we boarded the ship to head back to Florida I knew that my time in paradise had once again
When I was in the seventh grade, our class went on a field trip to Cherokee, North Carolina. The trip lasted four days and three nights, but the adventure would last a lifetime. The experience allowed me to learn many things about myself and to reflect on the beauty that was all around me. We departed at six-thirty in the morning, and I was so excited. I had never been away on a school trip for longer than a few hours. I tossed my purple duffel bag into the storage compartment, found my seat by the window, and prepared for what I knew would surely be an unforgettable adventure.
The sound of music, filling the air with happiness, resonates throughout the area. The scent of delicious buttery popcorn and glazed turkey legs that go on for miles and miles. The feeling of excitement coming into the place is felt in the atmosphere. It is the image of a once in a lifetime moment. When people come in, their imaginations become reality. The name describes itself perfectly. Walt Disney World is the place of dreams and imagination. People come from all around the world to see the rides, characters, food and the entertainment of Walt Disney World. I remember when I went to Disney World this past March. It was the third time I have gone to Disney World. To see the amazement and the expectation of the
So have you ever been to Disney World? Most of you probably have been there. I didn’t go to Disney World until November of last year with my family. I wasn’t sure what it would be like, but it was incredible. It was a lot of fun, and it was a great experience because I was with my family.
Four years ago we went to Disney World just my family and me, we had so much fun that we decided we would go again in four years. We started planning the next trip almost immediately; we were all so excited to go back. It was not going to be just us this time; my aunt and uncle’s family would be coming with us this time. I remember waiting those four years, and they felt like forever. When it finally came time to start packing (three days in advance) we made sure to prepare for what we did not last time. We had been there before so we knew what we should bring. We packed a bunch of snacks and a bunch of waters. Everything there is so expensive so we tried to cut down on buying extra food. The meal plan that we had gotten with our trip was prepaid
One of my best experience was when my part of my family went to Jamaica. It was my dad, brothers (Ethan and Owen,) Aunt, Uncle, cousins (Lincoln, Logan, and Marshall) my grandma and grandpa. It was an all expense paid trip. My grandma and grandpa “gave it to us” as our Christmas and birthday presents. We went from December 10th to December 17th.
I have traveled with my family many places we've been to Florida, Maryland, and Detroit. I have been to Florida on many occasions because I have family who lives there. I've been taking family trips to Florida every since I was like six years old. I've also went to the beach and Disney World. Every time we would go to the beach, I would only put my feet in the water because I'm not a good swimmer. Yet, It was really exciting in Disney World because of all the rides and the games. I got a chance to take pictures with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, etc. I really enjoyed that trip to Florida, in 2005, when we went to Disney World, and the funny thing is that my family and I were all dressed the same.
My trip to florida was great fun we got there in my sister's Jeep me and my sister drove back to oklahoma and my mom and sister flew back later that week .What we did there was go to the beach visited to disney stores and mall and watched sisters softball . We went there for the nice beach and for disney stores and mall ad the main reason was for my sister's softball tournament .
Walt Disney has brought two theme parks to life because of his imagination. He never stopped chasing his dreams, even if they seemed impossible. Walt Disney World came after Disneyland and it is located in Florida. Disney World is known to be the "most magical place on earth" and the place "where dreams come true". Many people haven't been to the park, so they might be skeptical of the "magic" that is held within. Walt Disney World is the "most magical place on earth" because of the rides, characters, shows, the electrical parade, Wishes Nighttime Spectacular, and the infinitely growing attractions.
Have you ever been to Disney world? Well they say It’s a place where dreams come true.
Disney world is a place designed for uncountable amounts of excitement and making memories. I had an unforgettable experience, because of the beauty of magic Kingdom, the Heart arousing of Bush gardens, and the almost unreal sites of universal. I will never forget the time I had on senior trip, and I hope visit again
The Main Street station, is the curtains to a large production as if the Magic Kingdom was a theater. As I wander beneath the archway, I notice that above the arch is a plaque that reads: “Here you leave today and enter the world of yesterday, tomorrow, and fantasy”. As I continue to stroll through the passage on the way to Main Street, there are posters of “upcoming attractions” that line the walls on both sides. I then step into Main Street U.S.A. and begin to hear the Victorian style orchestra playing over the speakers. I notice some Disney pals in Town Square greeting guests as if they were old friends. Then I begin to travel further down the street, and the smell of the caramel apples, chocolate chip cookies, and other sweets walk out of the open doors of the bakery and into the street. At the end of this turn of the century town, sits the one hundred eightyninefoottall, Cinderella Castle. This moment is a pivotal moment in any Disney vacation, because the castle is well known to millions. I get
My family goes to Disney World at least every four years. Disney, being my family’s go-to destination for vacation, is always packed with tourist from all over the world and is always has humid weather conditions. Sometimes I wonder why we go since we have obviously out grown the amusement park age group. Despite out growing Disney World, many memories have been made from all the trips to Disney World. From walking through rain back to the monorail stations to posing with Belle from Beauty and the Beast at a character dining restaurant. From all the memories made at Disney World, the most vivid thing I can remember is when I lost my family in a sea of people in the Magic Kingdom for less than a minute.
As time progressed, many different people, cultures, and ideologies have migrated to California in search of better social and economic opportunities since the state was still young and full of hope. In the process, the combination of people from different backgrounds has led to California becoming a diverse state in which people from not just the rest of the country, but from all over the world, perceive the Golden State as everything the Hollywood and other forms of media has made it out to be. However, there were many factors that played into the creation of the Californian identity, including the “built-environments” that were created through Disneyland, Orange County, and especially Hollywood.
Disney World was my dream trip, who wouldn’t want that as a dream trip. Going to Disney world was the most popular trip that was offered to each kids with cancer. The trip was the most amazing trip in my life. Going to Disney world was a stress relief for me, my mom, sister and brother. It was a relief because we all knew that going through those difficult days was over. What topped the trip off for me and my family was that everything was free, and I got to pick my dream car to ride around, Orlando Florida in. Going on rides with a free flash pass, staying in nickelodeon hotel for a week, to free breakfast lunch, and dinner. Waken up to gifts every morning to seeing my family smile made me cry. This family trip had brought my family closer than ever and we made lots of
When I was a young child I would love to hear my parents tell me that we were going on a trip. I would be full of excitement, because I knew that we would be going to a place that I had never seen before. My parents, my brother, and I would pack our luggage and venture out in our small gray minivan. Three of my most cherished memories in our minivan are when we went to Disney World, the beach, and the mountains.
