Chapter Ten - Senior Year

I can tell you right now that I took this year for granite. Only because I didn’t realize how amazing it was to get to see the love of my life every single day. It was just so repetitive and normal that I was being to not know anything different. The year began like any other, our lives consumed with football and cheerleading. How typical of a high school couple. Fall is my favorite time of year and I loved every second of it. One of the happiest things I’m so glad I did that year was get pictures of Caleb and I in our uniforms together. I still love looking at those pictures to this day. I would say that we both had an amazing senior year together, we even shared a locker. But throughout the year I would say how I was so excited to graduate and go to college and Caleb would keep telling why would you be excited when our senior year is one of the best of our lives. And I understand that now, it truly was one of the best times of my life. Looking back at all of my years in high school I truly had the best of times. And most of those times were with Caleb. Oh
I was pretty sure I wanted to go to the University of Oregon but I still left my options open, and boy did Caleb not like that. He thought that since I was looking at out of state schools that that meant that I didn’t want to be with him anymore and that it gave me an out to break up with him. He is so cute and funny, I was only looking at these other schools to maybe be able to do sports at them to help pay for school. In the end I got an amazing scholarship to go to any in state school I wanted which was great! But honestly I knew I was going to stay in Oregon because I love it way too much to leave it and I know that I wouldn’t have made it if I didn’t get to see Caleb as often as I did.
