Philosophy of Education
Education plays a significant role in everyone's life. The purpose of education is to better our society as a whole. I believe education expands the minds of children and helps to give them a guideline on how to survive in the world. The purpose of a teacher is to provide students with an array of beliefs and views, which will later allow the students to create their own ideas about what is important in the world. The main goal of most teachers is to enforce ideas that they believe will be most valuable for a child's life.
Teachers should base their curriculum on their students needs and interests. I believe that there are many conditions that are needed to help enhance learning for students. Children are able to learn better when they are in a positive and comfortable environment. Classrooms should be a place where children can learn and have social interactions without feeling intimidated. By believing students are most important helps teachers create an atmosphere that allows students to understand the magnitude of learning.

The overall purpose of education is not only to teach students about the set curriculum, but also to teach them to be individuals and creative thinkers. As a teacher one has to go farther than just to teach, you are a role model, a doctor, and most importantly while still having control you are a friend. I feel education is important because as a society we need to learn and grow from what we know. In today's society, a person without an education cannot make a name for themselves, and cannot get ahead in the world. Education is there to teach us about the past and prepare us for the future. Education is a leading part of our lives, and needs to continue to be.
Education is everywhere. This is why teachers need to be the best they can be. Since all children and adolescents are required to attend school, they need teachers that care about them and their education. In order for a teacher to be able to do this, he/she needs to understand the nature of students and knowledge. These two things go together. A teacher also needs to know what the purpose of an education is because without knowing, a teacher does not really have a purpose. In my philosophy, I will discuss why I think my curricular area is important and how I will professionally develop myself to become the best teacher I can be.
Former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright once said, “As a leader, you have to have the ability to assimilate new information and understand that there might be a different view.” The statement seems simple enough, but in order to fully appreciate it, an understanding of a fairly uncommon word is required. This word is assimilation. Though at first glance assimilation doesn’t appear to be too daunting a term, its diverse definitions play a significant role in more domains than many would initially anticipate.
My motivation for teaching is giving back to the students the opportunity, motivation and understanding that has been provided to me throughout my own education. I want to help people to have better lives, to help the world to be a better place and I like children. My personal beliefs on education are that every student who comes to school could succeed in life and students has something to teach me. I am a role model to my students and I demonstrate respect, honesty, empathy, responsibility, promptness, and desire for learning. I can nurture a desire for learning in students, I feel that education should be relevant and interesting. Education should incorporate the students’ families and communities when possible. Also, I believe that teachers
Education is a very important aspect of our lives. It is our education that makes us who we are and determines what we become. Therefore, education is not something to be taken lightly. As a teacher, my goal will be to provide the best possible education for my students. Every student is unique. I must see students for who they are individually and respect their ideas and opinions. Each student has a different learning style. I must take this into consideration because I want to provide a constructive learning opportunity for every student. I believe that every student has the potential to learn.
I was with some of my friends and I considered myself very lucky to make these memories and share these with them. There was something about sitting on that stone and mountain. It had this positive energy that made me feel recharged. Even the drive up to the mountain and the music we turned up in the car was one of my most favorite things to do in the afternoons. There was this cold breeze at the top of the mountain that made you shiver sometimes but then the sun warmed you and turned your red cheeks into a soft baby pink color.
The biggest change was how I started to act. Whenever I lived in Colorado I use to hang out with a lot of white kids that BMX shoot paintball and they were all in to diesel trucks so I kind grew up as a white kid when I lived in Colorado even though I was Hispanic. When I moved to Wyoming I had a lot of family and cousins my age so when I started school I had my cousins that I never knew about. Coming to Wyoming was a change because I stopped hanging out with white kids that are into all the stuff my friends were in Colorado. Whenever I moved to Wyoming I started getting in a lot of trouble because the people I was hanging out with. Which they all liked to do illegal stuff and dangerous stuff which I was kind of knew to. Even my mom saw a change
I want to become a teacher because I want to feel like I am accomplishing something special. Teachers have the ability to transform their students into free thinking individuals, and I would like nothing better than to help a student to find his or her place in the world. The overall purpose of education is to teach children the basic skills that they will need in life. Their education will be integrated with what they plan to accomplish. They can learn through an experience related curriculum, such as internships and group projects. If stud...
I believe the roles of the teacher in education are critical, not only in the students’ learning but on the students’ lives as well. Teachers must obviously be very knowledgeable in their field, but there is much more to teaching than that. A teacher must also set a good example for the students, help them in any way possible and prepare each student to enter our society. Teachers do not just teach their classes and go ...
The purpose of education is for a student to develop character, mental abilities, and physical abilities. This is why school and education are so important, because without these skills one cannot live up to his/her full potential or even function in society. My purpose as a teacher is to give students opportunities to succeed and not to give grades. My purposes are to make students aware of their capabilities and by discovering these capabilities develop a sense of self. The students do this by pushing themselves or trying to their fullest extent. By trying his/her hardest they will know their limitations. These areas are the purpose of education.
Education is the most important aspect in ones life. Through the development of education, children learn knowledge and how to become productive adults in an ever-changing world. Education should improve the quality of each students life. Teachers need to be concerned and feel a responsibility toward their students. They need to be advocates for education. Schools need to be committed to excellence in teaching and learning for all students within a safe and orderly environment. Schools and teachers need to share with the community, the responsibility of encouraging each individual to reach his/her maximum academic achievement.
Education is very important in life. Learning develops your mind and makes every person unique. As a teacher I hope to teach my students about everyday life, teach them math in a way that keeps their interests, and teach them to respect others. I want my students to respect me and look up to me and in turn I will respect them. My classroom is going to be an energetic room with students enjoying themselves, not unhappy because they have to do more math work. I hope that when my students leave my classroom they will have learned everything that I taught them.
My philosophy on education and learning is simple; to teach my future students to the best of my ability to achieve academic success. As well as getting to know my students well. Getting to know a little of their background can help make a difference in our teaching career. As a teacher, we care for our student’s educational needs and to achieve a full potential in their learning ability. I believe that education is an individual, unique experience for every student who enters a classroom. Having a passion for teaching and providing students with a proper education should always be a teacher’s top priority.
The purpose of education is to teach the basics of knowledge and to challenge each individual to learn. The realization that I will have the power to make a difference in a child’s life is sometimes overwhelming. This remarkable fact gives me a stronger purpose – to be a positive role model for my students. Being an effective teacher is truly an awesome responsibility.
I believe the purpose of education is to teach children how to be successful and happy in life. A teacher’s job is to not only teach subjects such as mathematics, social studies, science, and language arts. It is their job to build character and prepare them for the future. But, this cannot be accomplished without parent involvement. School should be a place where students can feel safe, be themselves, and come together with their teachers and parents to help them create a successful outcome in life. A lot of material should be taught using technology and should be fun and enjoyable for the students.
