O*NET Online has detailed descriptions of the world of work for use by job seekers, workforce development and HR professionals, students, researchers, and more. The U.S. Department of Labor had developed the Occupational Information Network that describes, defines, and classifies a variety of occupations.
2) SOC stands for Standard Occupational Classification and it defines the set of occupations across the world of work.
3) O*NET-SOC taxonomy currently includes 974 occupations.

My occupational interests was School and Career Counselors.
a. School counselors help students develop academic and social skills and succeed in school. Career counselors assist people with the process of making career decisions by helping them develop skills or choose a career or educational program.
b. Employment of school and career counselors is projected to grow 8 percent from 2014 to 2024, about as fast as the average for all occupations.
