Eleven days after our Nation was forever changed by the attacks on September 11, 2001, Pennsylvania Governor Tom Ridge was appointed to oversee and coordinate a comprehensive national strategy. For example, Department of Homeland Security, HSI Houston office, is preparing for Super Bowl 51, which has been categorized as a High Level Threat. Our office is making preparation for at least a million visitors to grace our city from all over the world. As a result of the skills obtained in this program, I will be better equipped to provide firsthand knowledge on operational procedures that could be adopted to ensure an optimal level of safety and security to the patrons visiting our city. This degree will enhance my investigative knowledge and allow me the opportunity to develop systems that can be established as systematic goby’s.
