My Hard-Working As A Role Model

I have been currently working at the Glen Ridge Public Library since June 2016. I have worked in the children’s room many times and have been around the children that come in everyday after school. They can see me as a role model because they can see how hard-working I can be and dedicated I am to the job. Once you get into the high school many students start to get jobs and by watching students like me can be a good lesson on how to during that job.

I believe that I’m focus and hard-working which are important traits in order to be a role model. These traits along with dedication, kindness and honesty are also super crucial in order to be a role model for children. It helps shape the kids futures with important lessons about getting through high school and different situations they might run into throughout their life. Not only is this program helpful to the children it is helpful to the members of the Heroes and Cool Kids and their peers around them. Not only do they set an example for the kids they set an example for their friends about helping out in the community. Overall, Heroes and Cool Kids is a positive program that helps everyone not just 5th graders.

I think that I would be able to bring a lot to offer to the children about high school and life. As someone who has gone through difficult situations and many awkward stages throughout my time during middle school and high school I can help 5th graders get through those situations the right way instead of the wrong ways. I would also be able to show what high school is really like and how it is not as scary as every little kid thinks.
