My Goals For The Future

Our future is the direct byproduct of our past and our present. Every experience that we have, all the emotions we feel, it all comes together in a melting pot that gives us a new perspective on life as well as teaching us lessons for the future, even if it can 't be applied to the present or may not even seem clear at the moment. I have always been torn between picking a field in medicine versus a field in engineering, and at times I have wanted to follow both simultaneously. My goal in life is to follow either path, but the end product being that I get to use the skills I will acquire and the money I will make to help fund schools in the third world as well as helping to set up clinics as I have seen first hand what the conditions can be like in the third world. The activities that I take part in will contribute to my future and will help be successful during my time at college/university and that in turn will help me reach the aforementioned goals. Although if I decide to just jump in and try to accomplish these goals they do seem unlikely but using the skills I have learned in high school and then coupled with my future academics and the skills that will come with them, I will be able to slowly reach my goals by creating smaller goals that will eventually lead me to my final goal. The aforementioned way of reaching my goal is a skill taught to me in the STEM academy and is it does now, it will help me not only in the future, but also during my time at University, reducing the amount of stress and anxiety I could potentially have, as well as making my goals seem and hopefully one day become
