Could failure be success in disguise?” I thought as I looked back on all my failures and accomplishments. Some might say that it is ridiculous to even think that success and failure could be the same. Through personal experience of failure, I come to the conclusion that failure is just as important as success. My best life lessons and success have been learning how to knit through trial and error, and failing my sophomore year of high school. My first lesson of failure leading the way to success was when I was as little as nine years old. I would always watch my mom knit and make different sweaters, blankets and scarves. For hours, I would practice trying to mimic exactly what I would see my mom do, But I couldn 't get it. After days of trial and error; and frustration, I finally taught myself how to knit. “I got it, I got it!” I said to my mom. She laughed and said ,“Je veux que vous appreniez seul, vous ne serez pas oublier” in French means, “ I wanted you to learn in your own way so that you would never forget. “She was right because I never forgot. After that, many more lessons came from failure.
The biggest failure of my life so far also came with the biggest lesson. My sophomore year of high school was the time of my biggest failure, negligence. At that time, I would wake up every day not caring about relationships, family, my health or my grades. I noticed my I was not so giggly and open to talk about my day with my friends.
