This week I have watched Silver Linings Playbook. I love this movie. It is my absolute most favorite movie that I have ever watched. In my opinion it is a very funny and romantic movie. I have seen this movie before I had watched it with my class. I did not expect such explicit language. I also didn’t expect Pat, the main character, to go on about Nicki for so long. I also did not expect for Pat and Tiffany to get together in the end, since he was going on about Nicki for the whole movie. I did not read any reviews about this movie before I had watched it for the first time. I don’t like reading reviews on movies, because there could be a spoiler alert in them. 50 First Dates is about this guy who likes this girl and goes and talks to her and everything goes well and they say they 're going to meet the next day. Well, the next day she doesn’t remember him at all. He gets really confused and thought that he did something wrong. Someone told him what had happened to her. She got into a car wreck and had short-term memory loss, and so she re-lives the same day, every day. This guy finds this out and several different things to impress her and meet up with her so no one else knows about it. Finally, one day her family decides to tell her that she got into this wreck, and she remembers the wreck. She was really devastated and knows that she won’t remember it the next day. She then, all of a sudden, wakes up, and is told to put this video in the video player, and it’s a little recap of what she has “missed,” but really she has been there the whole time. The two people in this movie were two totally different people with totally opposite lives that just so happen to meet between friends and fall in love after a while. The tone of this movie was to show different types of love. Pat loves Nicki because he had taken that vow to always love her, but then Tiffany came into his life and he learned to love her in all sorts of ways that he never did to Nicki. Tiffany also loved her dead husband still, but knew it was okay to fall in love with Pat. The meaning of this movie was to show audiences the different types of love and how much love can improve people’s lives. Tiffany and Pat were both broken before they met each other.
