As a child, being generous was strongly influenced in my household. I’ve been told that one must always be generous and treat others the way you want to be treated. I was also raised where I always watched, practiced, and played soccer. My family, especially my dad, are also soccer fanatics, which almost every day I would watch or play soccer. It is amazing that my family taught me to be generous and love soccer. I was born in Nuevo Laredo, but about 8 years ago I moved to Laredo. The neighborhood in Nuevo Laredo was calm and nothing would really go on. There's plenty of violence in Nuevo Laredo, but where I lived, nothing of those things happened. In the neighborhood that I live today, in the beginning, I wouldn't go outside because I was new. I was sad because I didn't want to move. As time went by, I made friends in school that lived close to my house and also met neighbors that were around my age. Later on, we would all get together outside my house and play soccer; I would play soccer
Generosity is one of the main things my family taught me.They raised me to be an excellent young man. They taught me to never give up in my dreams and to do what I love because if I don't do what I love then my life will not be as good as it could be. My dad is a soccer fanatic; when I turned 4 years old, he got me in a soccer team. Since that day I love playing soccer either competitive or for fun. When I moved in to Laredo, they told my dad if I wanted to join Laredo Heat. Because of him I enjoyed soccer even more. They are also the ones that got me into God; as a little kid I would never want to go to Sunday mass. Not too long ago they told me to live a retreat that would change my life. Of course I didn't believe them but I still signed up for it. That retreat changed my whole life and made me the way I am today.
