Deep sea fishing is an exciting sport that many people from all walks of life can enjoy all around the world. When I have the opportunity to partake in this sport it always gets my blood pumping, and I’m as excited as a little kid in a candy store. In my experience deep sea fishing is a sport of patience; one that can teach you a lot more about life other than just snagging a big fish if you allow yourself to see the beauty in it. Once you cast out your fishing line into the ocean, it can take just a few minutes, hours or even days to catch a fish.
There are many personal reasons why I go deep sea fishing. The first reason is because fishing is a great stress reliever. The peacefulness of being on the ocean makes all the worries of the world drift away and helps me forget any troubles in my life. The second
For example, freshwater fishing is mostly in calm water and steady weather, but in saltwater fishing the weather can change and become dangerous within seconds. Also the equipment used is different; different bait and different rods. If you are fishing in a lake for bass, crappie or bluegill you would most likely use worms, crickets or artificial bait. Artificial bait is very common for freshwater fishing, because it is made to look and move like live bait underwater. In deep sea fishing you use larger live bait for most ocean dwelling fish because they find their prey by scent. Because freshwater fish are smaller, more lightweight reels, rods and lines can be used. Another difference is the amount of work and effort that is exerted in either type of fishing. Deep sea fishing requires more strength than freshwater fishing because of the weather and strength of the waves. Both fishing styles require patience but the methods used are very different.
