Personal statement Since the role of the nurse is changing in Thailand, there is providing more opportunity for nurses to work toward a professional career by increasing the number of doctoral nursing students, expanding the nurse practitioner, and publishing the research study. Typically, I hope that collaborating with the faculty of the School of Nursing, CUA will contribute to my knowledge, research proficiency, enable me to publish scholarly journal and shape my educational efforts for the health care system in Thailand. These are the most important components of my career path. I have been recognizing nursing as a professional career when I was studying in third years in Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University at pediatric nursing practicum. Since I enjoyed in every aspect of practicing during my time there, I decided to work as a registered nurse in the same, Chiang Mai University hospital, for 6 years in neonatal intensive care unit. I produced the meaningful learning experience for my students by conducting the classroom research with the ultimate aim of promoting critical thinking in nursing students. In additional, I became involved in the children and their family with varied illness such as infectious disease (pneumonia, diarrhoea, HIV), Thalassemia, and Down’s syndrome . Mostly they are poorly education with low-socioeconomic status, and located inappropriately for access health care services that effect to their quality of life.
