After doing extensive research on careers, I believe the perfect field
for me would be the medical field. A few reasons why I am working on becoming
a Register Nurse are: helping others, challenging, schedule, salary, easy job
finding, respected and rewarding. By helping others in need as part of your
everyday duties can become rewarding at the end of the day. Knowing that
you made a difference in someone’s life could lead to a very fulfilling life
style. Not only can I make a difference in other’s lives, but I would be

My second career choice would be a police officer. I picked this job
because it interests me the most even though this is not the best time to be
wearing a uniform. Even with all that is going on in going on America at this
time I still believe that working in law enforcement would be a great option
for a second career. Police officers have a lot of authority in society and
they are very important people for enforcing the law and providing a sense
of security. If I were a police officer I would be excited every day to put on
my uniform to go to work. People depend on police officers to protect their lives and property. In
most jurisdictions, they are expected to exercise authority when necessary
whether on or off duty. Police regularly patrol and respond to calls for
service. They may direct traffic at the scene of a fire, investigate a burglary,
or give first aid to an accident victim. While on patrol, officers attempt to become thoroughly familiar with
their patrol area and remain alert for anything unusual. Suspicious
circumstances and hazards to public safety are investigated or noted,

The medical field is my choice because I find the human body endlessly interesting. I so enjoyed the anatomy course I took in my junior year of high school that I plan on recreationally reading the entire textbook again. The design of the body, the intricacy of one tiny cell, yet how all these cells work together so flawlessly to create organs and organ systems, it’s all absolutely fascinating to me. If that isn't reason enough to consider medicine, it offers the opportunity to help people heal. To encounter a person
Through the past three years I’ve spent at high school, I have developed and have grown intellectually.
The Ultimate Career Goal: I am extremely passionate about marine and wildlife ecosystems and all their inhabitants and have a desire to work in a career that allows me to work closely within these ecosystems as well as allowing myself to educate those that surround me about the importance of science. My ultimate career goal is to work as a laboratory and field technician for a reputable company or organisation.
Today, school is supposed to act as a medium in preparing students for their lives in the workforce, yet the way school is taught has not changed in over one hundred years. Career and Technical Education is one example of something that can help students to learn in areas that they may be interested in. Today there should be a change in the way school is taught to help students. In a world that is becoming increasingly more technology heavy, where students are expected to keep up with current demands, more multimedia, computer technology, and engineering classes should be offered to help students focus more on careers that they want to pursue.

Ever since civilization was capable of recording history, we were able to identify the type of job fields that existed throughout history. Not much has changed over the centuries; Ancient Greece consisted of farmers and fishermen just like we have today. According to the Bible, Jesus Christ was a carpenter by trade, he followed in the footsteps of his adoptive father. I believe a lot of people throughout history have aimed to follow the same line of work as their parents, because they respected their mother/father; parents have a big influence on our career choices. Unfortunately, many people eventually realized they earned their degrees/licenses in their chosen line of work without a meaningful purpose, other than to satisfy other's wishes. I believe some of us realize our dire career choices, because they lack vocation.
From a young age, I was drawn to the healthcare field, not because the amount of money doctors, nurses and other health professionals made, but because of the dedication and contentment I saw on their faces helping someone in need. Growing up everyone wanted to become a doctor or a nurse and as a little child being a doctor or a nurse was a profession many parents wanted their child to pursue as a career. Needless to say, I fell into that category because I had high hopes that one day I will become a nurse. However, that dream came to a halt.

Choosing a career is one of the most important decisions a person has to make in their life. It is so important because that is what we will have to do to support ourselves throughout life. Imagine being stuck in a dead end job and having to go to work every morning and dreading it. That is no spending oneÕs time and life is too short to work 35 years and be unhappy with it. If a person likes the job they do then it is not work, because finding satisfaction out of a job can bring great happiness. That information has enabled me to make the decision of choosing my area of study and career in the field of Information Technology.
This study is conducted in Universiti Utara Malaysia, Sintok Kedah. 1. I grew up in a family where work was an important aspect, but both of my parents did not always work. My father had many medical issues and was unable to walk for many years. Financial stability was always looked at as the ideal. I was taught working is just a part of life and you should do it to survive. Both of my parents did not attend college, but encouraged me to go to college. They were not happy when I wanted to also go to graduate school because they did not see the point of doing so. I was fortunate to have their help and support in my undergraduate degree because this allowed me to not have to work too much. I did have a lot of volunteer positions and ultimately got what I would call a real job in 2014 doing counseling like services in the community. I always knew I wanted to help people and I enjoyed doing this job, but decided to go back to school for my Master’s so I could ultimately open my own private practice.
There comes a time in life where we have to make a huge choice that will point our life ahead in the direction we think we want it to go and if you don’t make the right choice you could end up living off of minimum wage or even end up without a home to live in. One of the first steps in insuring that you make the right choice you have to have a very good education. When you have an idea of what you'd like to do, you need to start looking at what kind of education you need to achieve that career, because most careers now require certain amounts of education (McQuerrey). Research and make sure that it’s what you really want to do, but never over stress yourself with it and at first you may be able to expect little to no wages because most careers require on job experience so you know exactly what you are doing before you start to earn larger wages (Saisan). With the wrong education you will almost never end up with a very high paying job the world we live-in today are harsh and you need more than talent to get very far. Some of the best advice given is that you should always set your goals high and try your hardest to achieve those goals by putting in your own hard work and determination to be the best at what you are choosing to pursue in your life. Don’t be lazy and sit back and watch amazing opportunities go by knowing you have the chance to do something great and maybe even change a few people’s lives in the process. From personal experience I can say that a lot of things in my life have slipped by me and its nobody’s fault but my own and with an interview I did with my grandfather he said “It’s hard to do some of the things I did back in my day now, it’s a lot harder to get by now and you have to make sure you get a good educat...
