Some typical ways people could multitask is responding to the sounds and responding to the images. For example I think how people multitask in this particular way is if you could do homework and you could listen to music in the same time then your multitasking. Another way people could multitask is studying and working at the same time, for example if you were asked to learned how to do that task instead of engaging at the task different parts of the brain will be activated.
While multitasking could have great beneficial advantages these advantages come with drawbacks. For example, doing multiple tasks simultaneously is reflective of diminished focus.
