“Remember the Titians” is based on a true story of African American football coach, Harman Boone; traveled to Alexandria, Virginia to coach the T.C. Williams Titans. Coach Boone faced a difficult task coaching at a primary Caucasian school in early 1970. The Caucasion players were reluctant to play for a black coach. He also had an awkward relationship with assistant coach, Bill Yoast. Not only did Coach Boone and his family face challenges with his team and colleges, there was also challenges with the communities. As these two coaches began to work, sync and show their truthfulness and principle to the young men they were coaching, they and the community began to make a strong impact and everyone will always, remember the Titians.
In order for this team to become successful, Coach Boone had to make a few modifications to his behavior. He also had to approach the competence and motivation of his team. In the beginning Boone had a challenge getting his team to team to trust each other and work as a unit. The meeting of the two teams was the beginning of the coach establishing his leader ship with the players on the team. Coach Boone made sure to mix and two teams together during training, by putting them all in the same room. Many of the Caucasian member of the team and community started a boycott against the team in the beginning of the movie. After the event one of the Caucasian did not want to play for the Africa American coach but Coach Yoast insures him that that will not be happening.

After the brick was thrown through Coach Boone window at his home, he antagonized every one saying that the person whom did it can come see him. I agree with Coach Yoast that it would set a bad example for the other African American players.
I believe every one faces challenges in the line of work. Though we don’t have to deal with segregation today this movie taught me about leadership and different ways to lead people. There was a couple times in the movie where the members of the team would feel like they could not accomplish there goals and the coaches would have to insure them that they would be okay. I believe being a manager at a fitness center or some one’s personal trainer you need to be able to motivate people. In this field I believe that’s the key to successful outcome.
