Not to mention, Liam Neeson (Qui-Gon Jinn), Ewan McGregor (Obi-Wan Kenobi), Natalie Portman (Queen Amidala), Jake Lloyd (Anakin Skywalker), Ian McDiarmid (Senator Palpatine), Pernilla August (Shmi Skywalker), Samuel L. Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace was presented with the following: "Las Vegas Film Critics Society Awards, Sierra Award for Best Costume Design (Trisha Biggar), 2000; Razzie Award for Worst Supporting Actor (Jar-Jar Binks), 2000; Young Artist Award for Best Performance by a Young Actor in a Drama Film (Jake Lloyd), 2000" (Snyder).
I will be considering that Star Wars appeals to many different people, proof of this is that it was released again in 1997 and still was groundbreaking to the millions of older viewers, also capturing the imagination of the younger generation. Sci-fi films are known to have both aliens and special effects, this is what the audience expects of a typical sci-fi film. I will be studying many different suggestions as to why the film has been so successful. It was ambitious, winning six Oscars, mainly for its use of special effects. The first idea I will be looking at is that Star Wars is a type of fairy tale.
Directing is always a very important aspect of film, and as the years have progressed, we’ve seen more and more directors take on the challenge of the film industry. Korean film, has been found to be on the most entertaining styles of action, thrillers, and horrors, France has also become very successful in filming movies with deep, rooted plot lines keeping viewers on the edges of their seats. However foreign movies are a close second, American film sees no lower position than first in the near future.
One of the main things a movie must be is enjoyable and this movie is that. It provides an escape from real life where we are constantly searching for a problem into a world where the biggest problems are solved by magic. From beginning to end this movie will have your mind wandering and searching for every possible explanation for what you have just seen. Zooey Deschanel would serve perfectly as Jovie, Peter Dinklage as Miles Finch, and James Caan as Buddy’s father. Their tough New York personalities would often times conflict with the joyous and ecstatic Buddy the Elf, but would be submissive to change throughout the movie. The great actors and directors that made this movie are just one of the many factors that lead Elf to be as successful as it
As reviewer Sean O’Connell notes in his column at Filmcritic.com, Million Dollar Baby was expected to be “a half-baked, rushed-into-awards-season castoff by a respected filmmaker still basking in the glow of his last well-received piece”. Fortuitously, the movie has turned out to be one of the best motion pictures of the year. Once again Clint Eastwood surprises us all with his work as a film director. He gives the audience a chance to consider life from another viewpoint. The movie makes one think about what he or she has achieved in life and Maggie shows us that it is never too late to have a dream fulfilled.

There will be huge audiences for movies that people want to see when they want to see them. And they'll be able to download them on a multitude of devices at convenient moments in convenient places. And that's got to change the nature of viewing.” The world listens when business giants like Stringer make such statements, and it sounds like the home theater experience will only become even more convenient and desirable.
Is Hollywood replacing the cultural identity of many groups of people? Film was meant to show the traditions and customs of specific cultures to the rest of the world. Its unique pool of talent drawn from many different countries cultural impact of Hollywood films is now felt in all parts of the world. Film is a global good that everyone can enjoy and I think film will continue to grow.
Moviegoers across the board flocked to theaters to see the new movie. Meanwhile the all the history buffs among them were probably wondering, and a touch concerned, as to exactly how much of it would be fact and how much of it would be simply a fictional interpretation of the corresponding. The quality of the total film, alongside truly remarkable performances by Daniel Day-Lewis, Tommy Lee Jones and many others, certainly lent it a grounded feel. But just how accurate is it? To this question there is both a short answer, and a long one.
I love my PlayStation 4, like so many other fans I lined up at midnight to be one of the first to get home and get playing as soon as possible. I bought all the accessories that I painstakingly saved for and a whole bunch of games to play. This is not surprising when you consider the technical and physical prowess of the PS4, it is surprising however that up until this point their hasn’t been an awesome flagship exclusive title to drive the console home, other than a few pretty sweet indie titles. That is until March when infamous: Second Son releases in March. Nothing can get you powering up your machine better than a AAA title, Developers Sucker Punch have provided such a title, infamous: Second Son for the fans to drool over.
