The First Commandment. The first commandment is Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
Muslims believe Muhammed to be the last prophet, told by God in the early 600s to spread Islam. Starting from his small hometown in Mecca, Muhammed eventually succeeded in popularizing Islam throughout the whole Arabian Peninsula. Muslims believe that he was chosen by God because he represented the simple traditional values of life that all humans should follow. There are tons of different religions and beliefs, but do you know the three major monotheistic
The Israelites that follow Moses became monotheistic and follow the ten commandments. These commandments establish religious laws that are derived from the code of Hammurabi. Such laws include, “not worshiping another god before him” In Psalms 104, “But may sinners vanish from the earth and the wicked be no more. Praise the LORD, my soul. Praise the LORD”
Not to mention, but God and Moses had a great relationship with each other. God tells Moses: “Now therefore, if you obey my voice and keep my covenant, you shall be my treasured possession out of all the peoples. Indeed, the whole earth is mine, but you shall be for me a priestly kingdom and a holy nation” (Exodus 19:5-6). God is telling Moses that He will be his favorite person on the face of the earth if he just listens and obey God's commands and follow his rules.
"Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets."
Muhammad is said to have brought together Arabia into a solitary religious commonwealth under Islam. Accepted by Muslims and Bahá'ís to be a prophet and dispatcher of God, Muhammad is all around considered by Muslims as the last prophet to be sent to mankind by God. Conceived roughly in 570 CE in the Arabian city of Mecca, Muhammad was stranded at an early age; he was raised under the consideration of his fatherly uncle Abu Talib. After his adolescence Muhammad essentially functioned as a merchant. Periodically he would withdraw to a cave in the mountains for a few evenings of separation and petition to God; later, at age 40, he reported at the same spot, that he was visited by Gabriel and got his first divine revelation. Three years after Gabriel visited him, Muhammad began lecturing the revolutions freely, declaring that God is One, that entirely surrendering to Him is the only way in the eyes of God, and that he was a prophet and ambassador of

God establishes himself as the Supreme Being. Exodus 20: 2-3 states “ I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery, you shall have no other Gods before me”. These commandments were needed because the Israelites constantly disobeyed God by creating fake idols and constant complaining when an obstacle emerged. The covenant at Sinai is established. The Israelites accept the 10 commandments, official document of the Hebrew people, “God chosen people”.
Muhammad ibn Abdullah, founder of Islam and God’s messenger, would become known as a Prophet. Although he was extremely successful in expressing his message, the conditions to which Muhammad was born into may not be considered conducive for a young boy to thrive. In other words, the environment placed upon Muhammad was unable to repress him, and perhaps influenced him to become the most influential person in Islamic history, or the second largest religion today.
