When one of my pets die it makes me change just like what happened to sal when her mom died and it changed her because she is sad. In the novel Walk Two Moons by sharon creech, sal’s mom’s death made sal change because now she kisses trees, she doesn’t know how to feel, and when each day passes everything becomes harder and sadder for sal. One reason why sal’s mom’s death made sal change is because how she kisses trees. Is is because sal’s mom kissed trees so now sal kisses trees. On chapter 20 page 116 it says “I faced that tree squarely and kissed it firmly”.this quote shows that all because of sal’s mom kissing trees sal kisses trees now. The second reason why sal’s mom’s death changed sal is because now she doesn’t know how to feel.
