It is urged by Roman Catholics and the apologists of eastern orthodox that the believes and the teachings of the fathers of the church give a better image of true apostolic Christianity than the beliefs that came as a result of the reformation. Majority still have faith that fathers are the main successors of the apostles of Jesus Christ the son of God. According to the arguments, fathers from the apostles used the unwritten traditions as teachings. This tradition has continued to generations up to date through faith. This was contrary to the reformers and their successors who believed that some Christian aspects of the church fathers better reflected the thought, customs and language aspects of their cultural environment. The artists of the renaissance used an art that was more classical and they showed the human beauty and religion predominantly. They had a perspective that had a deep sense and they developed effects of two dimensions. Gothic art portrays by the middle age. This art incorporated fine art woodwork and stonework. Flying butterflies were used and ornamental gables. The middle age was a period that started in the 5th to 16th centuries. The Renaissance was 14th to 16th centuries. The printing press was used during the age of the Renaissance whilst the parchment was the middle ages tool. The Renaissance Age portrayed humanism in art while Gothic art was prevalent in the middle Ages. In the literature of Renaissance Age English was used whereas Latin and Greek were languages used in the middle Ages.
In the middle Ages, the church power was at its peak. Lives of the individuals were influenced by the strong power that was in the church. The laws of the church were followed by the people since they considered them to be coming direct from god himself. With time, many vices entered this leading system to its downfall.
