Did you know that without the Nile River, Egypt would be a desert? Each summer the Nile river rises because of rain at its source. When this happens, the Nile floods and covers the river’s valleys. Without Egypt, we may not be aware that living near waterways helps grow crops quicker. We maybe wouldn’t be burying our deceased relatives if it weren’t for their mummification. Also, Egypt gives women and mothers more rights than other civilizations. Therefore, Egypt society is more excellent than Mesopotamia, India, and Chinese because they are more advanced in agriculture, advanced funeral traditions, and more rights for women.

Eternal life was the primary focus of all Ancient Egypt, which meant preserving the body forever. They believed the body even needed a home in the afterlife. Mummification was the technique of removing all the organ except for the heart; this would make the body dry to be wrapped. Many would put essential things in the coffin with them; they believed this would help them in the afterlife. Although in China, while they did bury bodies, they did not preserve the body as Egyptians did. Therefore, this was important because Egypt did bury and preserve the body for the afterlife.
Finally, surprisingly we still have conflict about women's rights here in the United States, but way back in Ancient Egypt women were allowed to rule the country and had as many fundamental rights as the men. In Egypt, women could own land, manage a property, while in Mesopotamia, the society viewed a woman as her father’s daughter or her husband's wife; never as an individual. This is significant because women are part of every civilization. Without women, we wouldn’t be able to continue generations of kids.
