Not only will I miss my first ever NBA game, I was worried that I my dad would find out about this problem. Helpless in the middle of the highway, the first thing I thought of was calling my friends for advice. As I reached for my phone from my pockets, I remembered that I didn't ch... ... middle of paper ... ...ill remember for the rest of my life. That incident felt like an eternity. Thankfully, my dad did not care about me taking his car keys without his permission or his cars getting keyed.
Average Day It was just an average Friday, in which my brother and I woke up and went to school. With few days left of the school year, I was almost done with fourth grade and was really excited for summer to start. The bus had dropped me off at home around 4:15 like usual. Although my family did not have plans, Jake and I were excited for the weekend. When walking in the door, my mom told us that she and my dad needed to have their taxes done that night and that we had to go with them.
My sister acts as though she has a license and she looks around the car and says “I’m sorry I left it a home we were just going to the store to get my mother something because she is sick.” The officer says ok I will follow you home then. Once the officer gets back in his car we all start laughing while at the same time wondering if the police will ask to see our so called sick mother. We slowly take off heading back home thinking of things to tell my dad once he returns home. Pulling up at the house we all had a sigh of relief. We exit the car and expeditiously enter the house while waving at the police hoping he pulls off.
After about five minutes or so Jim put his pants on and walked to the kitchen to see what he had to eat. Half way down the hallway he was met by his mother who had just finished getting ready for work. “Good morning Jim, did you sleep well?” Said his curious mother. “Not too bad for five hours of sleep Mom, but this Friday I’m going on a hunting trip with Jeff and some of the other guys.” Said Jim while yawning. “Well that’s good at least you will be getting out of this house while you are off work.” Said his mother just a little too anxiously.
Storyland was always closed in December. We drove by my favorite summertime childhood experience, and I watched as we sped by, wondering why I couldn't hear about Mother Gooses children. "Storyland is closed now, honey," my mom said as she glanced in my fathers direction. He seemed to hide behind the steering wheel, almost ashamed of telling me where I thought we were going. But I know that deep down, he was satisfied that for at least the rest of the day, I wouldnt ask him about Christmas.
I made it to Big Lots, where Jonathan works, and I forced him to come outside and look at my car. Then we sat and talked for a while and I bragged about how I was going to my grandma’s house to eat a good home-cooked meal, while he would be forced to eat fast food again. When I left Big Lots, I still had a little time before church let out, so I drove back to Gray to the Dollar Store for some supplies for a Spanish class project I was doing that week. Finally I pulled into my grandparents’ driveway, and I noticed the door was closed. I thought this was unusual because I knew my grandpa was home, but I had forgotten a school fundraiser form for my aunts to look at, so I turned around and drove back home to Jonesborough.
Do you think texting while driving is worth it? I do not think a text is worth a life, if I was her I would have waited to text my husband. Here story goes as follows “I was on my way on my way to work, said Zumbrunnen about the morning of the crash. I took out my cell phone, and I wanted to say 'I love you, have a good day ' to my husband” (7 KTVB.COM). She could have waited to text her husband but instead she decided to send a cute message to her husband causing the following “while typing a text message, she crossed Highway 55 into oncoming traffic.
All of my family was surprised, because I was calm the next day without arguing again about the same subject with my father, but they did not know what I was planning to do behind their back. After knowing at which time my father does not use his car, I was ready for my next step which was a really terrifying step to do, and that step was taking the car without my fathers permission. It was 3:00 in the morning, and all of my family members were sleeping, I told my self it is the time to do it. I was walking so quietly like I was flying in the air only not to wake my family up, especially my father because he was the only one who terrifies me. Walking towards the front door was like walking miles to get there.
So I told him I did not tell you because I did not want people to know that I was going to be there and I wanted to surprise him. We got home at six pm I get out of the car and I walked to my old room it was everything different people could not believe that I was there. My dad sent his wife to cook me some food and they want to fit me with a lot food because they told me that I was so
Next, I would drive to my friend John's house who had just gotten out of school. He was waiting for my arrival. We had been friends since we were little children and shared many of the same characteristics. As I arrived I noticed that the skies were gradually getting darker and that rain was beginning fall. I decided that John should drive his car to the nearest shopping mall, mainly because I did not want to use my gas.
