Memphis has entertainment and activities for any age range and interest. There are many community centers located here. The mission of these centers is to “Provide a safe and wholesome environment with a variety of programs which meet the need of the community.” Each of these community centers provides three core service areas: health, fitness, and wellness; educational and character development; and cultural arts and expression. They also all offer a variety of areas accessible to the community. These areas are a gym, game room, meeting rooms, art studio, and kitchen. There are supervised youth sports teams; as well as adult sports teams. Holiday Events are held in the centers annually. Mission and vision statements communicate strategic goals. “To provide superior patient-centered care using appropriate and innovative evidence-based practices” is a mission better aligned with Amedisys new direction. Additionally, “Drive growth by delivering a full range of holistic health care services, while cultivating a culture of compassion” is a vision that could be used to inspire employees to achieve Amedisys’ purpose.
I have lived in Mississippi all my life and have had an opportunity to travel throughout the state. In doing so, I have observed several things that will important in this discussion. They are the music, the people, and the resources.
The Memphis YMCA was a lay-evangelical fellowship of young men united by a common loyalty to Jesus Christ for the first 15 years that it existed. In the 1860s, the Memphis YMCA became inactive due to the Civil War, and the Yellow Fever epidemics of the 1870s. After that period, the Memphis YMCA became permanently recognized in 1883. Little was known about the Memphis YMCA from 1883-1907, except the active leadership that had been provided by John R. Pepper, who maintained the association and kept it worthwhile. In 1907 Thomas B. King and John R. Pepper were correspondingly the president and vice president of the association. The YMCA of Memphis piloted a building fund campaign and purchased a building site for $33,687, feeling the need for facilities. A $200,000 seven-story building was planned for the cite. By the time the building funds were raised Elias Porter was president. The outstanding seven-story structure was completed in 1909, just in time for the buildings dedication by President William Howard Taft, accompanied by governors from 27 states, on October 27, 1909. The Memphis YMCA opened over 150 years ago. The first building has been opened for more than 100 years, serving youth as well as adults of Memphis in a variety of ways. Since 1909 the YMCA had developed and branched out in many directions.

In conclusion, my analysis of St. Michael’s Website has gone above and beyond to prove that it reflects its Mission Statement. The transparency the hospital has provided from its quality indicators, to its funding and resources and its inclusion of patient and family input and support is a testament to its commitments and values.
As a former Miss Phenix City’s Outstanding Teen 2011 and someone who has lived here my entire life, I have an indescribable love for Phenix City. From the educational opportunities and events, to the resemblance of the fictional town, Mayberry, these many reasons make this town so special. Phenix City isn’t just an ordinary town. This description expresses my reasons that make a small, normal city into a place that I proudly call my hometown.

Not every community is the same. Therefore, each YMCA is different to accomadate these differing needs. The YMCA in your community may offer child care or teen leadership clubs. In the next town over, swimming lessons or drawing lessons may be of bigger concern. Every Y makes theri won decisions based on the needs of the community around them. They decide which programs to offer and how to operate.
One great reason to live in Pigeon Forge would be the fact that it is a tourist town. Living in a tourist town means there are plenty of things to do for fun. Both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg
Though, the concept of community service is not very new, its importance has developed in the past few years. There are thousands of organizations all over the world that engage and support millions of young people all over the world. People of all age groups, with a maximum number of youth involved in the process of community service. Community-based organizations include social service organizations, non-profit providers and associations that engage both young people as well as adults as volunteers. The process is beneficial both for the individuals as well as the society.
Where I live is one of the greatest neighborhoods in the city to live in; however it does have its draw backs. Importantly it has nearly everything a resident might want, beautiful picturesque scenery, proximity to shopping, and many of the cultural centers. Nevertheless the roads can be some of the most congested in town, and the streets are not safe to walk late at night.
