Although many people confuse lucid dreaming with clear dreams or vivid dreams. Lucid dreaming is a skill that is developed to take control of the subconscious brain and manipulate dreams. On a regular day to day bases a person will experience a series of thoughts, images, and sensations throughout their dreams. But as they awake from these dreams they would feel distant or forget about them. That because while we are dreaming our self-awareness shuts down. Whereas if someone were lucid dreaming everything they would see, hear, feel, taste and even smell is as authentic as real life.
