Media Impact “Globally, individuals on average spent 456.1 minutes each day consuming media last year; in 2017.” And it has been expected to rise. The influence of media has greatly affects the young and the uneducated people. Children are impacted through videos or stories that are told. The adults and young adults are influenced through social media. Media has changed over time and changed people’s belief. In today’s society most people believe in a certain way. Media has shaped our perception through bias. Different biases have been shown through media. Some of the biases are bias by omission, bias by labeling, and bias by placement which are commonly used in media. One bias that plays in media is bias by omission which left out one side of the article or series of articles over a period of time and ignoring facts. This is commonly used on media.
