I am going to write about Mary Shelly the writer about Frankenstein. I am going to give a lot of detailed facts about who she is. What where she was born and the place of death. I am going to find as much as I can on her. I am going to try and write about the struggles and the simple things in her life that she went through along the way. I am going to write about everything and anything I can find on Mary Shelly. Mary Shelly was also known as Mary Wollstonecraft Godwin. She had the same name as her mother. Mary was born in London, England, on the August 30th, 1797. Mary Godwin was married to Percy Bysshe Shelly after he was having an affair with Mary. When Shelly was only 19 years old, she had just finished writing the book Frankenstein book. The final reviews of the book were not particularly kind. People were very rude about the book, the Reviews described as "a tissue of horrible and disgusting absurdity. The story and the story line were good, a lot of people liked it and people started putting on plays of the Frankenstein. The earliest production took place in London in 1823, was a success. Everyone came to watch the play and a lot of people liked it.
Mary Shelly was known for her gothic novel Frankenstein in 1818. Mary edited her husband’s work. Mary was called the first feminist or the mother of feminism. Shelly is considered as a different feminist in her honoring of women's natural talents. Mary Shelly’s work has a few glimmers of some modern sexuality and gender analysis in her consideration of the role of sexual feelings in the relationships between men and women.
