Marijuana has been one of the most controversy drugs in America since day one. People are skeptical about whether it should be legalized or not. As a kid your parents told you that drugs are bad for you and you should not do it. As a kid you do not understand the reasoning behind it, but you had to listen to what your parents say and do what they also say too. I realized that people did drugs even though it is illegal. I asked most of my friends if they had ever try marijuana and few of them said yes; I asked them why, they said they wanted the experience of the drug. Why is it that this drug has become illegal all over the world? The deliberation to make marijuana have been controversy since the drug was discovered. Marijuana can be used for many purposes like medical treatment and it can help boost the economy. For these reasons, marijuana should be legalized all over the nation.
Marijuana is recognized all around the world even in third world countries. Marijuana is known to be a drug that gives people who use it a “high” and is illegal in most countries around the globe. Some places have strict laws when dealing with marijuana users while others are lenient. The United States is one of the countries that strictly laws when it comes to marijuana usage, while Canada on the other hand is more indulgent on marijuana laws. Today more and more people are deciding to side with pro marijuana legalization for America. There are a lot of reasons why marijuana should be legalized nationwide. One of those reasons is that marijuana can be used as a medical drug. Twenty states including DC have approved of medical marijuana.
