Imagine having to fear about getting killed for trying to get an education? Malala was 15 years old when she was in a van going home from school in Pakistan when Taliban gunman stopped the van and emplane. They were looking for Malala because she had defied the Taliban by receiving education and making a blog on which she intention to be educated. Malala is a servant leader because she has empathy, she was a healer, and she built community. Malala is an empathetic person that can understand different perspectives on education. She risked her life going to school and get an education even though there was a risk. She got shot in the head on her way home from school. The Taliban is a terrorist group that does not believe in education for woman; however, she understands that education is very important. As a young girl, she wanted to be a doctor and the way to be a doctor, she needed to get educated and have a degree. She had mercy for those gunman that shot her. She healed herself and recovered from all of the trauma she had went through. Malala got shot and it put her and her family through a lot and she was still able to heal herself not physically but emotionally and inspire others.
