The Holiday Inn is a 4 star hotel that can be found on Victoria Street in Potts Point, one of Sydney’s oldest neighbourhoods, and is just a short 1.5kms, 15 minute walk, to the sensational city centre.

As it is a historic building the hotel staff take pride in preserving part of the city’s history but that venture does come with challenges. There were comments made by previous guests regarding the amount of noise made by the plumbing system, in particular the toilet facilities. The hotel is within easy walking distance to Kings Cross Station and is approximately 12km from the Sydney International and Domestic Airport. Transportation options include; a Shuttle Bus service to the hotel with a one-way fare costing approximately $14. A taxi fare to the hotel from the airport will cost around $45 depending on traffic (the drive taking roughly 30 minutes). If you are driving, the hotel is easily accessible via Oxford St and Darlinghurst Rd, Ocean Street or Moore Park Rd and Darlinghurst Rd – depending on the direction you are coming in from. Hotel parking will cost $30 per day from Sunday to Friday but will increase on Saturday to $40. Please note that if there is no space available, guests will be redirected to the nearby Kings Cross Carpark, which is only a short 5-7 minute walk away. The hotel does not pre-book or hold spaces. The Kings Cross Carpark on Elizabeth Bay Rd (entry via Ward Ave) is a public facility open 24/7 to visitors (vehicles must be under 2m high) whereas the Secure Parking facility on Bayswater Rd is only open until 11:30pm.
