Hey guys!! Tbh I’m still working on the plot line to this story. Okay. Shout-outs to: Cherryberry998, roro213421, Fan-Girl-Lover, Ellie990, 8emmy,edwardcullen23, and dallysbear. I’m kind of annoyed right now so maybe I can channel my negatiove energy into a really awesome chapter. ^_^ The next few days for Soul were agonizing. He tapped his foot impatiently the whole time, anticipating the day to come. Maka stopped next to him and smirked. “Excited?” she asked. But before Soul could even try to come up with a witty retort, she walked away, leading a horde of kids in another direction. Soul sighed, cursing his inability to sit still or even wait patiently. He didn’t know why this date was so important to him until the answer smacked him in the face--it was his first date since his divorce. He’s been living in his highschool body since Liz moved away, staring at girls, some mild flirting--not even realizing that once he went on this date, he would be officially on the market again. Soul didn’t expect anything to come from this date. He just figured that after it was over, he could relax again and feel like he was truly a single father. Not that that feeling was a good one or anything; he just wanted to feel like he could get a girl. Even one that he’s never met. Even one that read books in her spare time. Even one that knew every single fact about children that he’s thrown to the wind. Soul suddenly grew very nervous, and he remained nervous even after he laid his head down to sleep Friday night. His dreams were a flurry of nervousness, consuming his body and making his head throb from overuse. Eventually he got to sleep, and was only awoken by the faint sound of cartoons coming from the living room. Mary...!... ... middle of paper ... ...ally hit her and she nodded. Soul chuckled and lifted her into his arms to carry her into the small room. There wasn’t much in it. White walls and a black bedspread and white carpet and a black lamp with a white shade but black curtains hanging over white-paneled windows. The room as a whole looked like a chess board. They changed into pajamas and climbed in together. “You wanna cuddle?” Soul asked teasingly. Maka giggled and snuggled up in his arms, sighing. All was fine and dandy until the crash of a broken lamp jutted them both awake. And what they saw next was the most terrifying thing they could even imagine at that point. MWAHAHAHA!!!! CLIFF HANGER!!!!! Yeah I finished writing this really late so don’t be mean to me. >.< I’m going to bed, suckers. Night. Review, follow, or favorite for a shout-out in my next chapter! Okey I love you good night.
The final chapters represent the resolution of the story. Tori finally solo rowed across the Atlantic Ocean and I married not.
This installment of the popular series enters its final chapter and promises to live up to previous episodes as this time the future is at stake.
"Windup Girl" has been review in lots of places. So this review is going to slant more towards critique... and that means I'm going to talk about the ending. Don't read any further if you hate having endings 'spoiled!' Don't say I didn't warn you... and don't make me haul out the tag!
If there had been one more chapter in the book, I think it will go as follows. It is an average day for the community, the children are at school or volunteering and the parents are at their jobs. Suddenly a cool sensation approaches them. A sensation that was never felt before. The children leave school or their volunteer jobs and parents leave their jobs. They all then go to the doctor. “I’ve never seen this before, they say that they feel something called cold. Oddly, I think I know what they are saying but there is no scientific reasoning behind it.” The community members then go to the Giver and an emergency meeting is called with the Giver. The community starts to be emotions causing total chaos; everyone starts to have a meltdown. Little children cry as the temperature rises and adult scream because of the burning heat. “ What is going on?”, the councillor asked. “Judging by the symptoms they’re experiencing sunburns” Where is the new Receiver?”, eagerly asked. . “Gabriel! Gabriel he is missing!”, Jonas’s father said breathless while running in. . “Forget about Gabriel! Where is the Receiver!” the council yelled this time. Suspense is raised in the room. “Jonas is gone.” the Giver said. Everyone gasps.
Finally, it’s June 3rd. Laura is going to be graduating from Silas University today with her whole family present. With Carmilla still in Toronto, Laura couldn’t wait to see her girlfriend after not being around her for a month. School kept Laura busy, while Carmilla had to deal with work. They’ve had skype dates and Carmilla even managed to help Laura with some homework over the webcam. Finally, she gets to see her girlfriend face to face and she couldn’t be happier. Carmilla apologized most of the time for being busy, Laura felt the same since she had to work extra hard just to make sure she could graduate with honors. She is and she couldn't be happier.
The patient was more beautiful than she realized. If only she could see it for herself. The color from her dainty face had drained to a sickened green tint and her eyes widened in fear. The walls of the clinic exam room were ordained in calming colors, but offered the young woman no comfort. She continued to blink rapidly as if she would awaken from the nightmare; her long eyelashes could not fan the health worker’s words away. She thought it was harmless, just a night of fun. It made her feel valuable and attractive. Yet being desired now left her alone, crumpling to the floor screaming between sobs and desperately reaching to the empty air around her. She couldn’t grasp any security. Not only did that harmless night of fun result in her becoming
Antoinette’s relationship with Tia represents several values for her. Their relationship embodies several racial metaphors. Tia is the symbol of the person Antoinette greatly desires to be but never could. She embodies the black character that is free from alienation that is accepted by her community, unlike Antoinette who is neither black nor white. She struggles to decipher her own identity. The novel opens with the portrayal of the Cosways’ ruin after the emancipation, due to the fact that they formerly owned black slaves. They call them white cockroaches ‘I never looked at any strange negro. They hated us. They called us white cockroaches’ (Pt1 Pg 9). They do however find security with some of the blacks, namely the ones that are not from Jamaican decent, such as Christophine and Tia. Antoinette not only finds herself in the hatred of the black community but also the new English Colonists reject them due to their long intimacy with blacks and due to the fact that they are ‘Creole’ and not English labeling them ‘white niggers’. Therefore Tia represent a girl of approximately Antoinette’s age, someone she can relate to, that is black and therefore has the privilege of being accepted into society. She was strong unlike Antoinette ‘sharp stones did not hurt her feet, I never saw her cry’ (Pt1 Pg9), therefore she looked for strength, comfort and a sense of belonging with her.
I really like how the author added elements to create some tension which foreshadowed that something bad will happen which was the climax. First, in the previous chapter, Mr. Ewell intimidates Helen Robinson so Aunt Alexandra feels apprehensive as he seeks to take revenge on anyone involved
Spring break week had come; all the guys had decided to go out and have a crazy night down on the strip. We went from bar to bar, having a good old time just like back in the day. MMM had found this incredibly gorgeous girl at one of the bars. By this time, we were quite intoxicated, and apparently so was this girl. Marco stumbled up to me, and said “I’m going to nail this chick, I’ll see you guys later!” and off they went. As usual, nobody thought anything of it, and we continued on with our night.
...e not left with much of an ending, but we can only hope as readers that this will progress the narrator forward in his life.

It's dark out. The street remains quiet and the sounds of the city have faded. A woman walking down the street crosses, her heels thumping against the sidewalk. As she walks further into the night she feels a presence upon her. Suddenly the worries of the day have escaped her mind. All she can think about was the increasing echo of heavy footsteps behind her. Heart beating, she skips along the street, heels thumping with every step. She reaches a stoplight, and her heels come skidding to a stop. Her chest is aching and she's beginning to accept her fate, when, the man steps into the light with her. At first she looks away, praying that he won’t choose her as his next victim. As the seconds vanish, she decides to turn, to take a peek at the man breathing quietly beside her. Her brown hair whips around her shoulder and she clutches her handbag studying the man. It was difficult to make out his face in the poorly lit corner, but as she examined him she took note of his shiny blue eyes and light complexion. Without delay, her shoulders relax, and she releases the tight grip
I liked how at the end of each chapter, there was suspense which made it impossible for me to stop reading.
Finally this project ends with a personal comment on the third chapter as well as on the whole book.
the novel as a whole ends on a note of hope, peace, and joy, with
