Luke Skywalker was living an ordinarily life in a farm with his Uncle and Aunt. One day his uncle bought droids and took them home. One day, Luke uncovered a transmitted message from Leah, a rebel princess, when he was cleaning the droid. He was amazed how beautiful the princess is. The message was asking for the help of the former Jedi Obi-Wan. He found out from his Uncle that Obi was a colleague of his father he never met. Luke wanted to join Imperial academy after hearing this. Unbeknownst to them, the Empire were also looking for these droids. The next day one of the droid was missing and he went to look for it. Luke and the droids found themselves in trouble but were saved by the appearance of Obi himself. Obi told them about his Jedi …show more content…

After they watched the message in full, Ben decided to join the rebel and fight the Empire and encouraged Luke to join him and learn the way of the Jedi but he refused. When they got back home, they found that Luke's parents were murdered. This event made him decide to join the rebel alliance cause. He also receive some training from the former Jedi master. Meanwhile, the rebel princess was being imprisoned by Darth Vader in the battle ship called the Death Star. They hire Han Solo so they could fly to the princess home planet just to find out that the planet was annihilated by the Empire. Luke and Han went to rescue the princess while Obi took a trip to disable the Empire's lethal weapon that destroyed the planet. On the way Obi encountered Dart Vader and had a light saber battle. Later, Obi decided to sacrifice himself so that the three could escape. After the escape, Han decided to leave and collected his payments. They were followed by the Death Star and an ensuing battle went on. Luke was on the fight for his life against Darth Vader when Han solo came back and save the day. Luke lives an ordinary life earlier but sets out to find his destiny. He possess heroic values such as honor and courage but almost everyone knows that his real father is the Darth Vader which he will find out on the other episode of Star Wars. Han on the other hand is a kind of like a criminal, a smuggler as a matter of fact. He does not possess any super power but is very cunning in battle. They became friends and heroes during the war. Darth Vader is Luke's crisis point in the hero's journey. He watched Ben get killed and he almost died if Han did not come back and save him during the final battle. Han and Ben can be considered as his guardians who gave him assistance. Luke seems to have a happy go lucky nature in the beginning but later on realized that life is not a half full glass of drink. He met friends and went through trials with them. In the end, his experience on this journey brought out the best of him. Han is probably the most normal person in the Starwars saga because he does not have a destiny or being able to harness the Force. Unfortunately, he always get mixed up with the wrong people or events that he never wanted to in the first place. These two characters has different values but when face in a difficult situation would rise to the occasion.What draws us to these stories? How do we identify with them? I'm no Darth Vader fan but I think he is the most famous character in the Star Wars saga. He was an innocent
