Luigi Galvani was to bio-electromagnetics as St. Paul was to the Church. Galvani was a scientist during the 18th century, and through his discoveries he created Galvanism. Galvani used his discoveries in bioelectricity to help discover how electricity the body. His discoveries helped to advance the medical field. In order to understand Galvani?s impact on science, society must examine his background, his discoveries, and his influence on society. Galvani was born September 9, 1737, into a well-known family in Bologna. At a young age, Galvani was interested in theology. He eventually decided to pursue a career in the medical field.
