Upon first watching the film the script is extremely confusing and hard to get a feeling of what’s going on with what the actors are talking about. However, when the movie progresses on it is apparent the actors use tough accents and awkward moments are all part of the sarcasm that makes the movie unique. The main theme of this movie is to understand the rules that are laid out in front you. With the little experience he had on creating this film, he did a remarkable job and generated a brand new style in the crime genre. The use of lighting and color he incorporated into the film proved to be a stunning artistic decision. Each scene in the film portrays some type of meaning and principle to the overall look. His methods might be unorthodox to other people, but Guy Ritchie’s directing ability should not be overlooked in Lock, Stock and Two Smoking
