Local Education Authority Summary I find it important to make a note of the distinct location and profound history of Belarus before we proceed into the summary and analysis. Belarus is a landlocked country in Eastern Europe which sustained unrelenting brutal damage due to the nastiest nuclear explosion in history. Belarus was severely contaminated resulting in the resettlement and relocation of 336,000 people. The Chernobyl explosion in April 1986 has left the country of Belarus completely abandoned and became relentless to newcomers. As a newcomer to Belarus, Ales Rakovich has been given a battle between organizational cultures, administration system, the Local Educational Authority (LEA) as well as routines and traditions that has led the employees of LEA to utter comfort in the workplace. Adam Lozinsky was the former head of LEA gave a sense of character to the organizational culture by following the work habits of his easy routine, which in due process has led the office of fourteen people, assume this was standard. In result, there are no formal policies stating or defining rule when staff had to arrive to the office or leave each day. Everybody followed Lozinsky’s timetable, in at nine out by five, nothing was said to the employees so the tradition lives on. This led to predictability for each other, a workable pattern, a tradition that everybody abided by and a working norm which was followed by most LEA employees. The core of the issue here is not in all fourteen employees but one central player in the game; the secretary. In fundamental nature of the secretary is the hub of the organization and has a pre-determined role to perform as a conduit and to handle correspondence and clerical work for an organization. Once this conduit is interrupted or disconnected in anyway, the message is lost and we encounter a barriers of communication. Analysis The past can directly influence the present and the future state of the organization. Adam Lozinsky has left a tradition that led the employees to a comfortable workable schedule according to their standards. The pressure is ultimately built on two key individuals; Ales Rakovich the head administrator and his secretary Olga who is the only secretary in the organization. We know little about Ales Rakovich’s administrative procedures as the new head other than the "New Regimen" which is to visit the local school districts starting at eight o’clock in the morning and returning to the office at about noon.
We are the intermediary for all, whilst we adhere to strict union rules, venue constraints, and the occasional difficult personality. Each time we are away from our electronics, when we shower or ride the train, we return to further inquiries. Yet, we are consummate professionals and morning like this are typical. We know the most efficient course of action for each situation and each temperament. Plans are made, compromises
Imagine working with radioactive materials in a secret camp, and the government not telling you that this material is harmful to your body. In the book Plutopia: Nuclear Families, Atomic Cities, and the Great Soviet and American Plutonium Disasters by Kate Brown, she takes her readers on a journey to expose what happened in the first two cities that started producing plutonium. Brown is an Associate Professor of History at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. She has won a handful of prizes, such as the American Historical Association’s George Louis Beer Prize for the Best Book in International European History, and was also a 2009 Guggenheim Fellow. Brown wrote this book by looking through hundreds of archives and interviews with people, the evidence she found brought light to how this important history of the Cold War left a nuclear imprint on the world today.
The CEO’s Day Overview This case examines the multiple duties that the President and CEO of Midvale Community Hospital, Terry Blaze, participated in throughout the day to ensure that the hospital is running effectively. Throughout the day, Blaze attends numerous meetings, which are directed towards improvements, changes, or concerns that will overall affect the hospital. During several of them, he is required to make final decisions; however, he often directs other personnel to make that final judgment call. It was evident that Blaze wore many hats as the President and CEO of the hospital, which made it evident that his time was stretched thin. This could result in tasks going unfinished or completed incorrectly.

Hopefully, with accurate analysis and innovation, my research will teach the world of its past so this disaster doesn’t occur in the future. B - Summary of Evidence Chernobyl (chrn byl) is an uninhibited city in north Ukraine, near the Belarus boundary, on the Pripyat River. Ten miles to the north, in the town of Pripyat, is the Chernobyl nuclear powerstation, site of the worst nuclear reactor disaster in history ("Chernobyl", Columbia Encyclopedia). To specify, on April 26, 1986, Unit Four of the Chernobyl nuclear reactor exploded in Ukraine, injuring human immune systems and the genetic structure of cells, contaminating soils and waterways. Nearly 7 tons of irradiated reactor fuel was released into the environment—roughly 340 million curies.
In order to explain the adaptive leadership in the case of Mihailovic I will briefly review the essence of adaptation and adaptive leadership.
There are so many examples of Pausch working hard to achieve his goals and dreams in this book. As a child, Pausch stated that one his childhood role models was James T. Kirk of “Star Trek.” I learned so much by watching this guy in action. He was the distilled essence of the dynamic manager…” (Pausch 50).
In different industries, there are companies that operate for a purpose, but the bottom line is the management style between supervisors and subordinate can break or make an organization. Organizations and businesses have to run their management a certain way in order to motivate their employees. The main type of organization management is the Classical Theory which contains Theory X. There are five key employee conflict management styles. Building relationships between employees and managers is crucial for an organization to function and execute their purpose whether it is to provide a service or product. Both theories and conflict strategies were present in the film “Office Space” to demonstrate the negatives of corrupt management and ongoing conflicts which were not resolved that led to destruction.

Chernobyl was the greatest nuclear disaster of the 20th century. On April 26th, 1986, one of four nuclear reactors located in the Soviet Union melted down and contaminated a vast area of Eastern Europe. The meltdown, a result of human error, lapsed safety precautions, and lack of a containment vessel, was barely contained by dropping sand and releasing huge amounts of deadly radioactive isotopes into the atmosphere. The resulting contamination killed or injured hundreds of thousands of people and devastated the environment. The affects of this accident are still being felt today and will be felt for generations to come.
In recent descriptions, taken by the authors, related to that of call centers, workers have described it as George Orwell's "Ministry of Truth" with management akin to Big Brother. The case of call centers is that the employees are under continuous surveillance and are visible to the manager at all times. The authors feel that the process of capital accumulation and the frequently sought and contested after nature of power, control and authority creates the basic and fundamental differences between the institution and workplace. Moreover, the constant visibility and surveillance clause helps in the creation of a model of complete control which understates the voluntary nature o...

In conclusion this paper has looked at some of the work ethics important for success in the workplace. The paper explicitly looked at teamwork and communication. These two work ethics along with the other eight work ethics of attendance, appearance, attitude, character, cooperation, organization, productivity, and respect should play an important part in one’s working career.
